I have a similar product that i've used for years. I call it a shirt. Anyway, when you sweat it gets wet. A lot of times you can see how much you sweat based on the color shirt you wear.

Gatorade could add a bit of extra on the cost for purchasing the patch but they could include some double sided adhesive strips or maybe some elastic band to fit over your arm to make it reusable especially for $25

Would have liked to see something a bit more scientific. Maybe taking weight before and after the game to see how accurate the water loss calculation was, there’s probably a decently easy way to verify the electrolyte loss but that’s also a lot easier to get right with this patch.
