Is It Weird We Pardon Turkeys Every Year?

Every year the White House pardons a pair of turkeys -- this year they put them in a hotel room. It's a bit of an odd tradition, right? Although it might not be as odd as not knowing any person named Mike.

I’m from Brazil and live in NY and when I first hear about the turkey pardon and that they stay at luxurious hotel before the event I thought this is most hilarious thing I found here ever. Their names, carefully chosen. I think Biden has a huge task this year, because Obama’s jokes are unbeatable. (I watched many times and he is the best) I’m looking forward for this event in 2021, more than carnaval.
