Thank you for making this video! I was 100% on getting this swing because it seems so modern for a baby swing. But after hearing what happened with the swing stopped working and even with a warranty no one was able to reach out to for customer service made me realize that this swing is not worth the money. Thank you. I was considering this for my daughters baby, but since you and others I’ve written had problems getting in contact with customers service because some functions stopped working, I’ll be looking for a Fisher-Price product or something similar. Also it’s not ready to go for newborns ugh…

Thanks for this! Both my older sons had a fisher price swing and they LOVED it. I guess we’re a swing family too lol. We’re tight on space with this baby, so I was contemplating buying this one cuz it’s compact. My SIL warned me my nephew didn’t like his mamaroo swing and after this review, I think I’ll save my money.

Totally agree! NOT WORTH IT. We received this as a gift and as I un boxed it, the packaging says PRODUCT IS NOT RETURNABLE ONCE FABRIC IS OPENED. (Red flag there) So I set it up without the fabric to see how it works. I didn't like that my Samsung tablet would not connect or recongnize the AUX cable, However my Samsung Galaxy 9s did. Long story short... 1. Customer service number doesn't work 2. Infant insert sold separately 3. Bluetooth does not connect to your Pandora, SiriusXM or Spotify. Only useful for controlling the on-board settings from your phone. 4. The mobile isn't really a mobile 5. AUX cable doesn't connect to every device

I think you should also take into consideration what the baby likes. I bought this to my niece, cause we have been doing squats non-stop to make her sleep (up and down motion). She hates swings (left right). That should be what you look at when putting money on this. If your baby doesn't like up down, better stick to left right machines lol that's my 2 cent on this.

Worth it, no. Let's face it. It is a luxury item that does what no other swing does (though technically it isn't swing at all. Is the cost justified? Yes. It is very high quality in construction and function. It's truly top of the line. The motor is whisper quiet which is an amazing feat considering how much torque is required to move a relatively heavy infant and change direction quickly.

Interesting that the price for this swing is what vintage battery operated swings like the one I used in the 90's. And I know why these vintage swings are in such demand. The arms which connect the swing to the top support is much longer. This gives a long sweeping motion rather than the tipping motion of virtually all the new swings. If you can spend that much on a swing - get the vintage one if you can find one! My babies lived it. I wish I had saved it.

I was kind of excited about the Bluetooth until I found out it needs an aux to play music. The speaker are horrid and the sounds they give you are no better than distorted sound. So the sound portion is useless to me. But the rocking and movements it has is really nice. Is it worth it? Probably not. I got it for my baby shower so it’s the only reason I have it.

I too was drawn in by the lure of this swing but just the fact that they didn't just throw in the Newborn pad really bugs me knowing that its first used BY A NEWBORN...i also liked the different motions it had but if babies dont like it much why waste your money i can buy my grandson a different swing and extra things with that money

I can definitely relate! Was in your shoes not that long ago. Of course, every baby is different and prefers different things but my son just did not enjoy the swing to sleep! He would sit in it for brief stints. Let me know if you do end up getting it and what your baby thinks!

I just wanted to say whoever wants to buy this swing its trash. When we just bought it it made lot of noise was planning to send it back but the baby didnt mind it. After 3months of use now theres some kind of glitch it stops after few seconds. So save your money get something else.

My son is 4 months old in this video and he is quite the big guy too! The weight limit on the swing is 25 lbs so it seems like he is definitely getting close to that mark.

That is a great question! There is an 8 year age gap between my two babies and that was WAY too long to hang onto the first swing otherwise we totally would have. The fisher price swing we got back then was lent to a couple of friends after my son used it so it definitely got some baby love.
