Hi Kristen, excellent detailed review. Regarding the table for two number of portions, that is exactly something I would have noticed too as I like a good deal and I don’t want to ever feel ripped off. You’re not shy…maybe next time at the end of the service, you could ask the server how the portions are determined, table for 2-3 gets x # servings, tables for 4-5 get x # servings for example. What we don’t know about the table of two is whether they had someone in their party that cancelled at the last moment with a non-refundable prepayment. Now I’m curious too.

They were seated at a 2 top so I would assume it was a party of 2 from the jump. I am curious what would have happened if we were a party of 4. I genuinely think you all get the same portion no matter what. So I recommend going as a party of 2 😊

Expect heavy crowds at Disney Springs for most evenings this summer. I expected the crowds to die down a bit since the show has been around for a week now, but they definitely have not. You can totally still enjoy your time, but just be prepared for it to be a bit busier than usual.

Restaurant server, here. I think that they brought the food quickly to make sure that you have time to eat and enjoy the food so you aren’t distracted by the food so you can enjoy the show.

Oh I understand that! But I feel like the pacing should be a bit better. Maybe only do one dinner seating and have everyone come in at the same time for the dining package. Just a thought that I think would have improved my experience.

I drove all the way out to DS from Tampa last night.. was all set up with my view from House of Blues.. then Mother Nature had other plans. First.. it was too windy. Then they said they were good to go.. we started seeing some lights from he far left.. then the whole system crashed! They tried to restart and it crashed again. Then they cancelled the show "Due to unforeseen circumstances". I was so bummed and didn't wait for the late show because the forecast still showed windy conditions. So.. I would be afraid after spending $79.. that the show would be cancelled. I'll try again in before the show leaves.

I agree Kristen, the apps should have been spaced out. Especially so the hot ones didn’t get cold. I really hate it when food comes out too fast. The paella didn’t look appetizing. I am holding a reservation at Summer House in a few weeks and hoping to watch the show from there. Do you think the view will be as good?

Yes, you should pretty much have the same view since Summer House is right next door to Jaleo! I am not sure if you can specifically reserve a table on the back patio though, so maybe try to get there a little early to request an outdoor table.

Thanks for the heads up. Giving 3 people the same amount of food as two people who all pay $79 each means, to me, that the servers are either dishonest or stupid. I would never knowingly eat at such a place. So it's a big hell no from me.

I understand what you're saying about the portion sizes, but at the end of the day, that's what tapas are and they're expensive. Plus, it's really important that restaurants are consistent with their portion sizes to ensure everyone is paying the same amount for the same thing listed on the menu. It just wouldn't be fair for one table to pay the same money for something but receive a larger portion, regardless of party size. Because tapas are small and supposed to be shared, large groups have to accept that they may have to order more than one of each dish. 🤷‍♀ Great video though. Always enjoy your content!

Strongly disagree. This meal package is priced per person, not per dish or per table. The portions should be sized for the number of people since each person pays the same (regardless of whether it is a table or 2, 3 pr whatever).

I did not like this restaurant when I ate there. The food was ok, not anything fantastic. Some things were good, other things were bland and just meh. The seats were uncomfortable, there was no place to put your purse or bags except for the floor, which was not great. It was not crowded (we ate there at lunch), but it was strangely loud with the music and all the hard surfaces bouncing sound around. The waiter stood and stared at us from the bar as we ate. The table and chairs were really cheap, it was like being in a fast food place, but acting like high class. Anyway, there are so many much better places to eat there, so it was a one and done for us.
