I love that you gave this a try even though you weren’t a big Genie+ user. My favorite part of this new system is not having to stay up until midnight to make sure my family had Genie+ purchased before it sold out and then not having to pick the morning of when everyone is waking up and getting ready. Or still asleep. 😂

You got it! ☺️ And hahaha, one of the downsides of traveling solo… I have no one to tell me when something is in my teeth 😆 Except the rare occasion when Ellie will say, “umm mom that’s been in your teeth all morning” 😂😂😂

My twins are 8 and we still take mid-day breaks - especially to beat the heat (and often miss the afternoon thunderstorm) in the middle of summer. I am sure some day the whole family will be rope-drop to close without the break like my husband and I were pre-kids 🤣 Your HS day was very similar to what we experienced the first full week of the new LL system as availability and use evened out a bit. Definitely opportunities to find new LLs or modify throughout the day. We also did a LL for Beauty and the Beast - if anything, it helped us remember when the next show was since we always seemed to miss it. Same with Indiana Jones 🙂

I can’t imagine us not taking a mid-day break 😂 And that’s true about Beauty and the Beast 🙌🏼 But yes, LLs definitely kept popping up throughout the day.

We went recently and used LL multiple pass in all the parks. The one benefit I can say about using it for the Beauty and Beast Live show was the stroller parking. It was pouring down and being able to not have to go out of your way to park the stroller came in handy with littles in the pouring rain.

I’m really hoping that there will be earlier times you can prebook while using this system the older it gets. I love to rope drop, knock out my LLs, and park hop or casually walk around and sight see.

Loved this video and the last! I’m trying to learn as much as possible before our next trip. We are we going during September break and I’m super stressed about trying out the new system! I know it’s going to be so busy when we go and we will need it for sure. We took our daughter on smugglers run for the first time in June! She didn’t hate it but I don’t think she liked it either..so it will probably be a skip for us for a while.

Availability becomes more slim the later in the day it gets at all of the parks ☺️ But keep refreshing and checking back! Something will pop up 👌🏼

She does not 🥲 We avoid Fantasmic in this season, just with it being a little more villain focused.

@@BekahHart tugs at my heart because Iove the show, but not sure if there is too much violence/danger to explain to a 3 and 5 year old. I may just need to spoil the show a little with a video to see if it's a yay or nay 🙂
