Does it have an electric start or do you have to stick a lighter inside?

Only issue I have it the gas regulator stops working when I use it in cold temperatures. At around 20 degrees it starts to freeze and not work. Other than that it works great
@tristansdadreviews Жыл бұрын
Wow thats cold. I guess as long as it keeps working after those cold sessions is a good thing.
@bennyturbo1409 Жыл бұрын
@@tristansdadreviews I’m convinced it’s just the freezing temperature that is the issue because a few months ago when it was around 50 degrees it worked perfectly.

Owned one of these for 2 years . I loved it issues with it the brackets holding the drip gard rusted out built cheep you can fix that . But not long after it had a gas valve issues and trashed it . Would I buy another no ime not impressed with the quality of long term use it lived in my SUV and house the stainless lasted fine the cheap gas valve and steal in side didn't. Cooked great and good cook surface. Used it off 20 pound tank to but it lasted less time than a 20 gas grill I left out side for 2 years not covered funny the body rusted out but at least it still could cook better Valve system on 20 dollar grill.

Do you know of a better brand? I dislike Colman road trip grills because of the rusting out issues. Of the water tray. I left mine on my uncoverd back patio, with a tarp over it now its rusted.

I still have and use mine. I’m not a big time BBQ’er so maybe that’s why mine is still working. I make sure to cover it when it’s not in use.

Used mine for the first time yesterday. It held 6 large burgers or 9 smaller ones. We cooked like 18 burgers for the kids birthday party. The grill was a big mess when I was done for the day. It looked like I used it for a few seasons it was black and caked with grease. It took a bit to clean it up which was a pain in the butt. Now looks like normal use. I turned the grill down as low as I could and had flair ups. It’s a great little grill I love the idea of it for our small family and very few times we have more than 4 people but I need to learn how to get it cleaned up and not happy with how damn messy it is

Yeah, it takes a lot of cleaning and still doesn’t look as clean as I would like after.

By the way yours is way cleaner than mine is and that is after deep clean with an oven cleaner too

Lol. It no longer looks like that. I have to do a follow up video of what it looks like today.

@@tristansdadreviews mine was first use with 18 or so burgers and crazy flair ups. I was bummed that it went from shiny new first day to looking like it’s been used all season.

@@yamahschector I agree. Over time I wasn’t on top of the cleaning right away like I was when I first bought. Fell behind and doesn’t look as good any more.

How easy was it to clean?

The meat really stuck to it but didn’t take too long to clean. Mostly because how small a surface area it has. But after the first use it looked “well used.” Lol.
