So many reviews on Amazon saying their battery no longer charges or works after about a year. Bummer. it is 65.00 US right now on Amazon.. I guess I will have to go with the Neewer

We haven’t had any issues with the batteries. I still use the USB C cable with the fast AC adapter to charge it. And I use it a lot as well, we usually drain it all the way.

Can you tell me if you need to disconnect the HDMI port from the monitor when you swap batteries? I heard that sometimes energy loops can damage your HDMI port. Greetings from TJ

I usually disconnect the HDMI before powering off. I don’t know if it’s mandatory but it’s a good habit to have. I have heard of Sony users having HDMI port issues but I have yet to have any issues.
