it's truly amazing with all the info out there that people are still running a warcomp with surefire cans

Please explain
@Kyle-wc3nf3 ай бұрын
@@allthingsconsidered3211theyre great muzzle devices in general, but they don’t have the labyrinth locking rings on them so you get more gas in your face and they’re louder than you would with their muzzle break or flash hider adapters. Also if you use it a lot without removing and cleaning they tend to get stuck and carbon locked onto the barrel when you use a warcomp.

I'm really glad now that I picked up a few RC2's last year for roughly the same price as x1 RC3. The Surefire RC2 is tried and true. Absolutely battlefield proven, has greater signature reduction, and it's half the price!

I have the Mini 2, RC2, and RC3. The RC3 is by far and away my favorite to shoot on every rifle especially SBRs. I'm only using the 3P and 4P muzzle devices. Flash is a non-issue for me under NODS using IMI and PMC M193 (they may add flash suppressant). A friend's SOCOM762-RC2 on a 5.56mm rifle is much worse for comparison. Like B&H, there were occasional and seemingly random flares in the first 1000 rounds or so but they have subsided. For my Vets and LE out there, it's $1450 through Primary Arms discount.

I'm late to the party here but in my experience the RC3 shines most on SBRs. If you're running the right muzzle device and throw it on an 11.5 or 10.3, you will understand what SureFire was trying to do with the RC3. Sure it may not be better than its predecessor in terms of back pressure and flash reduction, but in just about everything else it performs really really well. That being said, I wouldn't run it on anything that is 14.5+

Your tail-cap is shorting on the MOD Lite, or your battery/battery housing is damaged. It's essentially physically impossible for an unintended activation to be related to the light head. The circuit can't connect from the negative terminal on the battery to the light head without passing through the light body via the tail-cap, or the light body itself. The circuit interruption does not occur in the light head, therefore in an unintended activation event, the head is just working as intended, and the unintended connection is happening elsewhere.

Surefire durability, no question. What’s seemingly is the consensus with Guntuber’s that the War Comp and or SF brakes are a no go with the RC3. Why? Idk, SF drop the ball on that. But put a 3 or 4P SF Flash hider on there, and it turns into a different suppressor. For a performance boost certainly doesn’t hurt to try..

The ODB is not just a statement to how big your balls are; it’s got an integrated Bluetooth speaker, so your wand can groove to its favorite tunes while laying down covering fire. Imagine the envy of the other suppressors as they watch your banana rocking out, with a catchy beat playing in the background. It’s the ultimate party accessory for any lover.

@CortezumaАй бұрын
You figure an H3 on a suppressed MK18 is appropriate however if it’s flow through I’d say H2 buffer should be ideal. Trial and error through. Hux or RC3 are legit. Flow through is completely worth it. However your application matters, so nobody can answer you unless you state your priorities and intended use.

I really wish you ran the SF3P instead of the warcomp before reviewing this. It makes a HUGE difference. Open tine 3 and 4 prong FH are the only devices you should be using with this. I think it would have changed your opinion on the entire signature reduction segment. As it stands you’re looking at SureFire durability but same signature reduction as anything else. So you naturally compare it to Hux and say that’s cheaper with same signature reduction. Bet the Hux. Well what if you now have RC2 style signature reduction PLUS that durability? Then SF stands ahead of the Hux and is worth the price given how important signature reduction is. It would change the whole tone of the review.

In my opinion, the RC3 isn't worth it. It's overall signature reduction isn't as good as a KAC CRS PRT, CAT WB, CGS gov cans and even the hux flow 556k is a better buy than it. Their are better things out their and they're no where near that price point. The LE teams I see in Texas using this suppressor didn't test any other suppressor and just sold sold their RC2s and bought RC3s.
@phillip69198513 ай бұрын
The surefire rc3 is overrated, overpriced and a waste of money. All surefire did was cut the end off and cut slots and called it a low back pressure can because gas is able to escape out the front but not as much as it should. Surefire didn’t do anything special to the silencer and marked it up $600. I have almost 40 silencers and I can tell you a TRUE flow through/low back pressure silencer is Huxwrx.
