Is it wrong to be a people pleaser?

Are we people pleasers? Is it wrong for a Christian to be a people pleaser? My musings on all things Christian related. Today I'm walking along the Royal Military Canal in Hythe, Kent, UK.

I recently said NO - and the person looked so surprised! I surprised myself! I didn't even offer a reason, but I don't have to. I felt a bit mean - but I figured they would ask someone else, and that would be good for them! I've been on the receiving end of good turns lately - and I realise that allowing others to do things for me is good for them as well as me! Your musings make me stop and think, something I don't do often enough - so thank you Mrs. Smith. It's a difficult habit to break - so your thoughts will actually make me ask myself why I say YES when I should say NO.

Bless you... good for you though, sometimes saying 'no' can be absolutely the right thing to do. For us and for the person asking, and for God x
