I agree with what Vinnie was talking about the lack of emotion you feel after going through depression or a dark time where you dont reach out to others for help. I sometimes struggle with not fully expressing myself when I go through something, and holding in does more harm than letting it out. It's okay to be vulnerable.

Definitely! Sometimes you just feel so numb and it feels like anything more will hurt so much. Idk depression is so hard to recognize when you’re experiencing it :(

Every once in a while, I have my moments where it's dark, but I do my best to take it one step at a time through journaling, reading, painting, or listening to music. My mom is aware of my mental health now, so she helps me whenever I am down in the dumps.

I am very good at reading people's body language and as much as Jack and Vinnie are close, you can tell Jack was starstruck during the whole interview. Vinnie has a huge star power that's intimidating for everyone (Vinnie has random people copying his tattoos for crying out loud) and of course Jack was nervous. Imagine sharing a house with Vinnie and that's exactly what Jack's gonna do. That's both impressive, intimate and complicated. Jack is a pure soul and I'm positive that's why Vinnie chose him to be his roommate. Both boys have an amazing chemistry together and make each other feel safe and loved. I feel like Vinnie can be himself in front of Jack (not this alpha role model for prepubescent teen boys). Vinnie is free to remove his mask right in front of Jack with not problems.

this is absolutely relatable, the lack of emotion thing vinnie described is so true and scary, and can often make it seem like we’re insensitive people when in reality we are too sensitive and traumatized… thank you so much for this, this is one of the topics that has to be talked more about. ♥️

I loved hearing this perspective on the outcomes of depression. For me it did the complete opposite!!! I became more compassionate towards people but also stronger as in not taking things too seriously for the sake of my mental health

Vinnie has to have this very masculine alpha persona going on but I feel he can be himself with Jack. When cameras are not on, Vinnie can be a total different person with Jack and that's why they are moving together. Vinnie knows his brand is being a role model for white straight teen boys, which can be harsh on your mental health.

His brand is very much superhero/unattainable hot guy, geared towards girls. It's not even that conscious on his part, he can't help how hot he is. But now he's getting into more streaming and content creation with 100t and pro gamers, he's now slowly building a male audience. He's showing his personality more, which is giving him a more balanced audience.

21:55 Vinnie and everyone, allow me to give a piece of my mind on this: You will never be 100% sure, all things figured out or completely ready to anything. Don't wait for the right time to do something u want to (if u want to), it doesn't exist. Life is just a sucession of trying to figure out things. Do what u feel like, follow ur heart. Think about it, but don't overthink it. As in for relationships, u don't have to compromise ur whole life to someone, go slow... it took me a long time to learn this, cuz I always wanted too much from the guys I was with. But they taught me dating is very far from marriage, and control is never ok. As for the fans... they will have to get used to whatever u do, eventually. They have to adjust to you, not the other way around (it is not healthy). You already have ppl attentions and charisma, u got it, don't worry. Thanks for sharing a bit of u with us 💕 ily

God helps a lot, even when we think we’re alone, God hasn’t left our side. Not once. Getting to know Jesus, and always seeking him out is really refreshing. Even with people by our sides, and distractions that help, It’s good to know that God is a permanent, it’s good to know him, and that he loves us, go to him for everything, he’s the creator of creators, king of kings, he’s the truth, the embodiment of peace, and light, etc.. and he wants all his children to trust him, to be with him as he is with us.
