Toward the beginning of the concert all the members were amazed and interacted with the live fans onscreen. HOWEVER, at closing statement Jimin said he became overwhelmed with emotion because he saw the sheer happiness on the members' faces as they all ran around performing the final songs. It really hit home how they all missed ARMY so much and how the pandemic unfortunately has kept everyone separated. 😭😭 💜

Jimin didn't know that he would be able to hear AND see ARMY, live, during the show. He thought it might be recorded in advance. Towards the end of the concert he found out that ARMY was live and the last two or three songs before this final song, the crew filled the screens with ARMY, so BTS was able to see and hear about 800 of their fans. It was the first time they'd been able to see and hear ARMY this year. Being able to see ARMY and seeing the other members interact with ARMY and how happy it made everyone overwhelmed Jimin and he started crying during their closing comments. They sang this song and, as you can see, BTS got pretty emotional. So did ARMY. After the song ended, the cameras followed BTS as they went back to the area where they started the show, and ARMY started singing the vocal part of Bulletproof: Eternal again as they walked. They hadn't heard ARMY sing to them like that in almost a year and Jimin broke down crying again. They kept saying, "We hear you. We know that you're really here." The second night, BTS was super hyped because, that time, they knew from the beginning that the cheers were real and that they would be singing to ARMY directly at the end of the concert. Jin was the one who had to make the announcement that the show was over and they were going to sing their very last song and he didn't want to say it. The ending comments for both shows were extremely emotional, but for opposite reasons. The first night, because ARMY and BTS were reunited but the second night was because they had to say goodbye again. I really hope that you eventually get to see both days at some point. It's really worth it to see both performances. Just make sure that you have tissues with you when you watch it, especially the first night.

Jimine was crying because he really wanted to perform in front of Army and he was frustrated that the pandemic had to ruin everything. I felt his emotions and it made me cry so hard too. Whenever I hear this song in general I just get really really really emotional and cry. just thinking about how much they grew and where they are now. I’m so proud of them and army. I’m so glad to be in such an amazing fandom. Also queen we all missed seeing ur beautiful face. So happy that the queen is back on our screens. BORAHAE 💜💜

Jimin cried because he was overwhelmed with emotion when he got told by J-Hope that they’re performing live to ARMY and that they are seeing in real time ARMY. Jimin explained more on VLive that he thought ARMY was prerecorded videos and got confused when he saw all the faces of ARMY singing in real-time with them. When they went backstage to change for the encore he asked J-Hope about the video feeds of ARMY and J-Hope responded saying ‘it’s live. It’s really them’ He was stunned and couldn’t get over that fact all through the encore songs. He said when the pandemic first came about he was just bummed out then went ‘it’s ok, everything’s ok.’ Then when he saw ARMY and knew that it was live he realised he was not ok. That he hadn’t been ok for a while. Even on VLive a few days after his birthday he repeated that he wants to see ARMY again soon.

They did so well in this song, even I'd we were an emotional mess. I honestly don't know how BTS can sound so amazing rapping and singing while crying and tearing up but thru do. Them hearing army even when army wasn't there in person was really touching for BTS and Army. They literally missed Army so much seeing them on the view screens and the live chats was what so needed.
