Was listening to Jesus is king a few months back and it was beautiful it drove me to tears but recently the songs just dont have the same effects then this new album came out and it was just gone for me. Brilliant songs but truly is just not as inspirational anymore. I pray he comes back to Christ. Amen Great video btw keep up the amazing work

It is sad. I think his divorce really broke his spirit. I think about/pray for Kanye a lot, having not really been a fan previously.

I feel you bro. I was very confused when the Album came out. And he had once made very strong statements about his faith and that he's done making circular music. For him to hit a complete 360 and nobody really questioned it? It's weird to me. I had watched reviews and so on about this album and nobody really spoke much about how he shifted from his faith so aggressively. It was almost like it never happened. I found it kinda dangerous because he lead a lot of young people to believe and they look up to him. Not only that, but idolize, and they're babies in the faith and then for him to lead them this path. Ey, I dunno. I do believe the pain drove him to the dark side but it's sad to see. Reminds me of the Aniken story on Star Wars. From Jedi to Sith lord. I really loved Kanye growing up but now, I'm just concerned for him. I hope he finds God again. We all act out now and then through our lives via rebellion, only problem with him is his influence as a public figure.

Enjoyed this. I do listen to secular rap, and listened to Kanye prior to Jesus is King. I find it difficult to listen to the new stuff as it’s just sad to see a man who talked about God the way he did, to fall back into his addictions and desires.

i think he´s still close with god but this album is not only his, but ty dolla sign too., and his type of music is more for the club and parties. Also i think he just wanted to prove to everybody that he can still do banger tracks. An album like donda or jesus is king would not sell as much as he needs to get his money back together and his "position" in the industry that was taken away from him. Still kinda hypocritical but i think now he doesnt believe he has to talk about only Christ-like stuff, because his god given purpose is to do music for the masses, regardless of the topic. Jesus is king would not have been as big as it was if it didnt come from a massive popular artist like Ye. He has to do some popular songs for the message on the others to hit as much people, and i think that polarity is what makes Ye great. He might not be bipolar but he kinda represents the bipolarity of all things. Good cant exist without evil. Also the next volume of vultures will be more chill and christ like and less party, sex stuff. There´s one specifically that i like called "gun to my head" where he says: "but the fact is i had yall screaming Jesus, now you know the lord"

I don't really think Ty is doing club music anymore. He showed great vocal performances on Jesus is King and hasn't had a banger club song on the charts recently. He also recently converted to Islam, and as a muslim I can assure you that you cannot profane on Jesus as he is a prophet in our religion. I just think Kanye has kinda lost the way of God, but he'll find eventually. As you said he just wanted to prove he can still do banger tracks, he'll eventually get his mind right and get out of that episode.

I loved the album too, songs like Jesus Lord made me cry, but his main focus wasn’t God anymore, I literally cannot hear them praising God in the song “Praise God”

I watched the Vultures 2 listening party and Kanye included Jesus Walks With Me so there is still hope for him yet. Also, in his interview with Bad Boi Kanye said that he just had "beef with Jesus at the moment" because he says he prayed about a lot of things and he didn't feel that Jesus was there for him when he needed him. He said he has decided to take back control of his own life for now. He was a new Christian and he has taken soooo many batterings. The Sunday Church choir tried to sue him. Churches tried to block him from hiring venues for Sunday Church. His Jewish lawyer signed over his copyright for his Yeezy designs for Adidas without Kanye's permission. When he spoke out about this Ari Emanuel a Jewish power-player tried to destroy Kanye. When he tried to speak out about that he was accused of being antisemitic. Kanye is just burned out from it all for now. He's fought toooooo many battles these last few years and has had his soul hurt. 😢

Itb seems to me that he has used Christianity and Jesus's name for his own glory. Not to sincerely carry that cross to follow him but in seeking his own personal blessings. You can't just take Jesus and try to fit him into your lifestyle world. It doesn't work that way. You have to give up your own world to come into Christs.

To be honest, he’s not a Christian leader 😂 sure I do think he spear headed some laws that promotes Godly values. (ex. Roe v. Wade) , but he’s not a very “Godly” man by my standards. I think he uses Christianity as a way to gain votes from Christians. But hey, I don’t know the guy personally 🤷🏼‍♂️
