Is Ketchup a Condiment or Dipping Sauce?

With Kim Kardashian on the show we wonder who on the crew should have a camera following them around all time. We again remind the public that we are the most sweatpants energy of all the late night shows. And when we get into the news James, Ian Karmel and Rob Crabbe try to list all the dipping sauces at McDonald's - and ketchup does not count.

Yep. There are two condiments at McDonald's here. BBQ Sauce and Ketchup. I have no idea what a dipping sauce is but I'm pretty sure we don't need it.

"Hot Mustard" is the missing nugget dipping sauce at McDonald's, one of my favourites but I'm absolutely compelled to share this story and yes, I'm willing to make fun of my 15 year old self for this but I wasn't alone. While I was working my first job at Burger King, a guy came up to order the Chicken Tenders (I think our cashier called back once McNuggets and had to be corrected.) but any specializations were also called back then too to be made. It's the middle of dinner hours rush so you just try to make it as fast as you can. Well, the guy ordered "Hot Mustard". Now, it's not one of the dipping sauces offered at Burger King but the cashier thought it was a customization and didn't tell him that BK didn't carry that sauce. Customer is always right policy is right back then. A happy customer is a repeat customer. So, I'm working burger boards and an order of hot mustard gets called back. It's on our screen so I grab a 1 ounce paper cup, filled with yellow mustard because we don't have any other mustard, popped it in the microwave for 20 seconds (or the standard time to microwave to melt processed cheese on a single pattied burger back then) and then I took it to the counter to gingerly place it on the customer's tray. I couldn't stay because I had to get back to my work station or else we'd fall behind. The last memory I have is the customer's perplexed expression while I placed that cup on his dinner tray. It wasn't until after the rush was over and cleaning up did I realise what I had done. Total blonde moment for me! LoL! You get what you ask for. ^.^

As an American, I am embarrassed how few people know our three branches of government. It’s not hard- executive, legislative, and judicial. Executive is the President, legislative is Congress (both chambers), and judicial is the Supreme Court. This is true at the federal and state level. This is part of elementary school curriculum, middle school at worst. Do better, America.
