The reason why the fast food is so good in Hong Kong, it is because there are competitions between different food venues, rather they are chain stores or local restaurants. You can't win customers simply with just a brand name. In order to stand out from others, you have to out do others by taste. USA, as an example, fast food chains like McDonald's don't even bother with advertisements or promotions. People will just walk in as they have a lack of food selections. Why bother improving the taste when people are progammed to come in anyway. I was in HK 2 years ago, I stayed at a place where there was a KFC nearby. For 2 weeks, I couldn't walk into that KFC 8 o'clock in the morning, because it was always jam packed. They offered food selections where you couldn't find in other countries.

Hey chonny I’m from Hong Kong and kfc here is actually pretty inconsistent. If u went to a different shop your experience with kfc may change drastically. The Portuguese egg tart and the spicy chicken u guys had is the 2 best things on the menu!

You guys must try Pizza Hut in HK. It is sooo different than what we have here in Canada. They have the best best best dishes and really creative pizza toppings. I love their soups, the chicken wings, and also remember having escargot at Pizza Hut a few years back.

Yes!!! I remember when I was there when I was a teen one summer and my mom got us a seafood pizza with thousand island dressing. Squid, shrimp, scallop toppings. I was sceptical but it was bomb!!!

No wayyyy, as a local in Hong Kong I wouldn’t want pizza hut unless I am too lazy to think of anything else to order, things are only reheated and served to you. Either the food are dry as fuck or overcooked

HKD is the same as USD, they were linked 1 USD: 7.8 HKD since 1983. In hong kong, food is cheap, transport is cheap, everything tax free except wine/cigarette/gasoline. housing is expensive.

Alexandra Nicole Lazaro obviously it will! To have octopus money, you have to go to a train station and head to one of the customer service counters or octopus refill machines and put in the amount of money you want to put into your octopus then done!

I'm in Hong Kong and in a hotel for 14 days quarantine. I was watching this video again prior to order KFC from Deliveroo. I have ordered 2 Flava Crava chicken, 1 Hot & Spicy chicken, 2 Hot Wings, Zinger burger, CrissCut fries, Egg tarts and a can of Pepsi. Total inc.delivery HK$120.50 Compare to the UK, there are many varieties of chicken and more interesting choices of food from the menu. The chicken taste so good. Tender, juicy and very tasty. The KFC egg tarts surprisingly taste so good. Butterly, light & crispy pastry with warm soft egg tarts. I feel appreciated and grateful to be able to order KFC while in quarantine. Thank you Deliveroo & Food Panda.

I love the KFC chicken, and I really love the mashed potatoes and gravy, but you must put pepper on them, it's a must. I never eat the mashed potatoes and gravy without a lot of pepper, it makes them so good. Just writing about it makes me want to go get some for dinner tonight. My favorite chicken is the leg, the wing, and the breast.
