I was a child once upon a time and I remember my mom and dad going out of the country and leaving me, a 10 year old with my brothers, the oldest was 21 and I felt like I had been abandoned lol I was a horrible feeling to not have my mom home, I felt so lost so I cannot imagine these children constantly being left alone. I feel so bad for them.

Right, my mom worked for Mary Kay in the 90s and she was always working, traveling, I missed her a lot when she was gone! I would even go to work with her on the weekends just to be with my mom. Can't imagine what these kids go through. But maybe having millions of dollars, being able to travel anywhere, and having every game, toy, etc I could ever want would keep my mind off missing my mother. 🤷🏻‍♀️

At least for as long as they have their show, they do. Their “need” to leave their children with their nannies so they can go somewhere far away to some work thing is disgusting. They don’t need to do that. At least not to pay the bills, because they’re so rich. But I guess it creates lots of opportunities for drama.

I think Kim is a workaholic, but I also think she’s obsessed with money and fame because in order to keep up her money and fame she has to be a workaholic. There’s been many times where the Kardashians were not part of the average conversation and then boom something happens between Kim, Khloe or Kylie and now they are back within The average conversation. So it’s definitely two horns on the same boat.

As a single mom myself, I can understand the backlash that she received because for many of us, we are the chefs lol and I can’t just pick up and travel for work, even though I do have a supportive family. However, Kim and Kanye have went through a lot and it’s nothing like having the father in the home and her kids are old enough to where she has to explain to them why their dad isn’t in the house anymore. I don’t think she said anything that was rude to single moms. She acknowledged that she has help and also made the point that children just want their parents. Her nanny doesn’t replace her. I think she should take a step back from work and spend more time with her kids as a unit though.

The kids are going to expect only that front her & possibly lose respect for her. Most single mom don’t have a village or even one person for help. I’m a mom…If I didn’t have to cook for my family, clean, take my kids with me when I’m not working and can take vacation’s all the time with or without my kids I truly think I would be such a nice and relaxed mom for my kids lol I would probably want to snuggle them all night and relax and play with them constantly. What else is left in the day other than spend quality time with your kids… honestly at that point it’s fun aunt energy..

I’m a psych and we are told through schooling we need to wear ‘professional clothing’ I havent done that since my first week and I think my clothing really reflects my nature as a psych- personable, relatable, normal. As a parent, I do feel Kim tries to compensate for not being around as much as other parents. The private jets, shopping sprees, individual trips for each kid... I'm a single mum & it's nothing like Kim's single mum life 😂 my daughters dad hasn't seen her for nearly 10yrs. I work and still struggle to pay all my bills & put food on the table for me and my daughter. I can only work part time becos I don't have the money for child minders and I don't have family that can help me. That being said, I would rather struggle and see my daughter grow up than be paying alot of strangers to raise my child. Yes Kim is single but she isn't completely alone raising her kids like us common people are. She tries to be relatable but she just isn't 😂 but God loves a trier 😅😂

I personally don’t think she’s a workaholic. I think she’s having an identity crisis. Previously in the 2010s she was thriving as Mrs. Kim Kardashian West and Kanye did so much for her. He basically introduced her to high fashion, he created the whole monotonous, minimalistic, curvaceous aesthetics for her and she became a style icon because of that. All of her businesses: KKW beauty, KKW Fragrance and Skims were built with that branding. Kanye basically elevated her, so now when he’s no longer in the picture and she has to re-establish herself as a business person and an individual celebrity, she’s lost. On one hand she wants to detach herself but on the other hand she’s not really a creative person like Kanye so she’s scrambling to find her footing. I’ve watched some of Kim’s interviews in recent years and she always appeared kinda frantic in those. She kept rambling about how hard she work (to the point that it created a controversy a few years ago), she made a huge deal about studying law but now it’s going nowhere, she tried to maintain her status in the fashion world but has had some major missteps (wearing Marilyn Monroe’s old dress which angered a lot of costume historians, becoming the face of Balenciaga right before their controversial child ad). Kim is struggling and she tries to get over it by working even harder, but her ‘working’ is kinda aimless and frankly, disingenuous. Imo she needs to take some time off and really reflect instead of spending tons of effort without a focused goal.

I never watch or follow the Kardashian's but I was intrigued by your title & enjoyed your video! It's a tricky one as I'm a big believer people with money are people too and can still find things difficult, even though their money can help with certain aspects of life, they aren't immune to struggles or problems. I don’t have kids or watch the show but based on your clips, it seems like Kim is out of touch with the children and totally spoiling them too - maybe to compensate for been away so much. She seemed to brush it off a bit when they hung up on her but it must have actually felt quite hurtful, based purely on the clips, it seemed like they really weren't interested in talking to her which must be horrible for any mum. Ultimately, she shouldn't have to give up her business/personal interests to be a mum, but maybe she hasn't found the right balance of parent time & personal time? She didn't seem happy about things as they are or been a single mum in some of the comments she made. I don’t think anyone would be criticising a man for travelling so much away from their kids, which is unfair and says a lot about society's overall consistently outdated view of women as people & parents. Having said that I understand why some people feel her comments were out of touch, even though she acknowledged all the paid help she does have, alot of single parent's lives & realities are very different. Ps I actually brought one of the Dolce dresses - At the time I honestly didn't realise it was part of the Kim collection (that's how little I follow the family) - I didn't even know there was a collab happening! It was hugely (and I really do mean hugely, hugely, hugely, hugely) discounted in a local department store at the end of the Summer sales last year and in the classic corset style which I love & had wanted to buy for ages, but never could! Since finding out it was part of the Kim collection it has put me off a little bit! The dress is stunning but I just feel like all the family products and endorsements are so consumerism focused without care for people or the planet, just lining their own pockets, and I'm just not interested. Still, there's nothing I can do about it now!

Brands are vocal about their proud exclusion of fat people because they make the mistake of thinking that fat people can’t buy their clothes so it doesn’t matter if they cater to them or not. Beauty brands made a similar mistake of proudly excluding black women from their shades because they assumed that black women could not afford to buy their makeup and how wrong they were, given that black women are the largest spending demographic in the beauty industry. Now that we realize that suddenly 50+ shades is “in the brands vision”. That guy is literally just wrong because you can see as the beauty standard is changing brands are catering to a *curvier* body type. Just not a fat body type (yet). Versace makes plenty of clothes that fit Cardi B. As more celebrities and figures of influence come into the mainstream that are fat or plus size I promise you brands aren’t gonna miss out on their dollar.

Kim honestly reminds me of my father; she has no sense of identity outside of work. This means she doesn't form relationships with her children because, ultimately, her money and desire to always be viewed and perceived come at the cost of others. Just think about what she did with her daughter, paying her way to be in *The Lion King*, knowing how much hate the Kardashians get already, but still subjecting her underage daughter to hate. She gives off complete narcissistic vibes. I love your commentary. I live for these videos. You are so funny!! I totally agree with you, the parenting comments are so out of touch. Also, in my opinion, the whole video is just her being a narcissist. I am the first one who believes in being confident and not downplaying your achievements, but this just seems so fake because it is her saying it. It is only believable when you show it through actions (which doesn't include a reality show that you produce) or when other people say it. Yeah, skims is successful but only because she has the money and resources. She tried so many ventures before that failed. I guess it can be a bit disheartening when you see so many hard working people with so much potential that don't go nearly as far because they don't have the connections. "Success" in cases like this, in my opinion, does not equal talent.

I find it comical that Kim is saying she isn’t taken seriously. That may have been true maybe 10+ years ago. But at the end of the day most companies only want to make money and they know she can make them money. She can turn up naked and still get deals because money speaks. Whereas is normal people have to ‘dress’ and ‘look’ the part as our name alone can’t get us things, we have to sell our selves. She doesn’t have to do that. Also I don’t want to slutt shame but there was a reason why there were doors closed in her face and she wasn’t taken seriously. She made and realised a sexx tape, she created a certain reputation to make money and get fame at any cost, she will always be tacky for that, it was her own doing. She shouldn’t complain that people know her for a certain reason when that is what she wanted. I just think there are certain things that stick and one can’t rebrand or forget (I say this because she lied and threw a man under the bus for her fame resulting in his reputation being ruined for her). I think we can learn from her to be careful to not chase fame and clout at any cost. As in the future it may stick around. I think about the tik tok people doing stupid and selfish things for 10 mins of virality. Look at Logan Paul trying to be a serious boxer? Or drink seller? But he will always have his crypto scam and Japan forest vlog over him. Or Trisha Paytas she is trying to be a good podcast person but her messy past dampens any attempts likewise Tana Mongo her Tanacon, and other stuff.

I like having long hair atm it’s fun and when I have facial hair I don’t get carded and shaving causes me to breakout and with regards to the glasses my vision is so bad they don’t make contacts strong enough so I’m just vibing and ok with my appearance but thanks

I love you and respect your opinions, but I don't agree with 7:43. I'd say Kylie and Kim are neck and neck with the success of their brands. The only reason it seems like Kim is doing better is bc of the celeb deals, and how make up is no longer a social media trend (thanks to the KZbin drama). Think about it, how much do you hear about Fenty? Not much, but Rihanna's brand is still doing well.
