He’s not being selfish. There are 10 weight classes in the worlds and only 6 in the Olympics. Dake still wants an Olympic gold before he retires.

Kyle your willingness to talk about Functional Patterns publicly is what sparked my interest. I invested in Naudi's online pt program because of you and have never looked back. Have put all of my family and friends onto FP. Changed my life forever. Thank you brother.

It’s still a mystery why he wasn’t himself in 2021. He’s said we’ll find out in the long awaited “Dake Doc” that’s going to be amazing. No doubt he’ll make it happen in 2024. No doubt. He’s the best.

Dake? Burroughs and Cox kept the guy from the Olympics for a decade. Then in Tokyo he gets teched 11-0 by a guy that doesn’t even win the gold!

What?!?! Did you not see him in Tokyo? He got dismantled by a guy that then lost to this guy. A rematch will be even uglier!

@@quincyspielberger4366-H'm. Didn't he defeat the wrestler who beat that guy in the first round this time out? And he just wrestled Sidakov well and won silver. In a match if you make a mistake in a match and give up 4 points you can get quicksanded. It happens.

@@austinwhisler5938 You don't have to say something verbatim in order to say something synonymous. It seems that all your rebuttal could extend to is pointing out a simple typo. And if I have horrible spelling, then please fix your grammar. Don't forget to use your capitals and periods when starting and ending a sentence. :)

Dake retired in 2013 didn't he? 10 weight classes in the worlds with a lot of room to move weights and duck the tough matches.. Only 6 weight classes in an Olympic tournament. In 2016 J'Den Cox beat Dake and kept him from the Olympics. Tokyo was Dake's first shot (at 32 years old) at an Olympic gold and he was teched 11-0 in just the second round. Dake was a folkstyle god he was just never technical enough or fast enough to wrestle at the Olympic level.

TEN weight classes in the worlds - guys treat the worlds like a practice tournament trying new weight classes, new styles, new moves. Only SIX weight classes in the Olympics and everyone brings their A game! Instead of ducking guys in the worlds like he did in college he should be using the tougher guys to get better.@@michaelscott33
