is Lazy Oaf worth the price? ~ a brutally honest haul + review ~

Purchase the same sandals in different color however quality was terrible which deemed to be faulty!story short customer service was nightmare beyond believer especially for a small business!!

Hi from the UK! thanks for this review. The sock issue was crazy - where did the sock go? Did they find it, and send it to you? Thanks also for pointing out the 'unethical' perspective, as I won't buy from them now because of that. Crazy money for funky things, probably made in sweat shops! Lazy Oaf, if she's wrong, then prove it!

To this day, I still have no idea where that sock is haha, I never got it, but I got a replacement pair thankfully😅 Yeah, I really wish that the price point matched the way the products are made, would make a big difference if they worked similarly to Everlane for example.

I’ve never had bad service with lazy oaf and all my orders come on time or before time ! Honestly one person’s experience isn’t due to brand but whoever is working customer service that day or whatever! Pricing .. as much as you’d like prices to be affordable , every brand has their market target and I guess if you have it you’re going to spend if you don’t , just wait for the sale 😂🤷🏾‍♀️ Anyway people’s experiences are different

This is very true, like all reviews, this is a subjective take on my personal experience. However, I do not think the pricing is good/justifiable considering the customer service the quality of some of their clothes - I would understand this justification if they were a small/independent brand and/or had their clothes made sustainably, but these prices are closer to Everlane (sustainable brand), while the clothes are still made in China. And since their prices are competitive, that means that the service should match that level as well. Considering the service was bad and you have to pay a lot for shipping each way (US specific), the prices really can't be justified. You wouldn't want to walk into an expensive store and be treated poorly or get poor quality clothes for what you spend, and in that same vein it's important to take into consideration why the item costs as much as it does - I believe Lazy Oaf's big selling point is the uniqueness of their clothes, and it is similarly unique to other smaller brands, but I don't believe it should dismiss quality and service. At the end of the day, I do think I would like this store a lot more if I could go to it in-person, as shopping in-store is much easier and hassle-free, and like you said, they have a target audience and cool clothes. But if it's working for you, I'm glad! Maybe I'll give it another shot when I can afford to lose $50+ in shipping and have more tolerance for poor customer service haha

the single sock doesn't surprise me from this brand alas!! i once ordered a shirt from them and they sent me another item instead that was just a holey tshirt laughs... thankfully they replaced it, but the communication was defo also odd their clothes also tend to look frumpy for the price, def doesn't recommend!

Yup, I agree that the quality is iffy with some items and the customer service is not quite up to par either! Hopefully they'll change but I doubt it :/

Oh I LOVE Vivienne Westwood, thanks for heads up! The other Melissa sandals also look divine, I've been debating on whether or not to get their black sandals.
