What the heck did I just watch? I was mutli-tasking sure, but by 8 minutes in I felt less informed but more advertised. This was a 9 minute long series of advertisement I think.

How come COSTS associated with Azure, is neglected in the discussion? For small businesses, or startups, PHP (Yes, PHP!), Django, Go + Fiber are often as/or even more performant, running at lower costs. YES, COST MATTERS. Perhaps present a head-to-head comparison of cost metrics, under a medium-to-high traffic / use case where concurrency is key.

What about college degrees? I can't even begin to count the number of companies that want people with degrees, many years of experience for a junior position, and know like a billion programming languages.
@arandompersonontheinternet7591 Жыл бұрын
A lot of companies just put it there because Hiring Dep has a mandate, don't get discouraged! I have a rule to never click apply buttons, you get the first job through networking
@tutorialsEU Жыл бұрын
You can apply to those jobs anyways. It's not like all of the companies have even the amount of applicants that they could choose from. So if you are a good guy and know your stuff, you will be good to go, regardless of having a degree or not.

Exactly the same problem in UK! Basically most of the companies will accept your job application if you have degree from University! That's I've started uni in this year! I'm at the half of the first year! Definitely you will need degree!

@@attilaguba856 I've worked with C# for 7 years on game development, I'm planning on getting a few Microsoft certifications to put on the resume, don't have a degree.

Dumb question, I’m looking into asp net bc I came across the book in my digital library “ cleaning it out” it’s Microsoft asp net 4. I’m only a few minutes in trying to see if it was worth saving , my question is simply.. should I save it? Appreciate it. Thank you to whom let’s me know!

What about golang? I have been hearing that golang == op in backend. About C# in backend(MVC or smth else) i hear only from C# devolopers. What is better to study?

golang is cool but there arent many jobs i think

Golang + Fiber, with either Svelte or HTMX on the front-end is far more economical, and likely as performant as any .Net application. Not to mention, far more economical as well in terms of development. There's a good reason why startups rarely ever consider C# and .Net, and instead go with other web stacks.
@aldosusanto7 ай бұрын
IMO, Golang is simplistic and "fun" to code, but if you are building enterprise level applications that focus more on reliability then performance, etc. Java, python, c is probably better since they are much more mature
