19th July So some of the issues I had with Mirio in this video have been addressed now his alpha has a bigger hit box and now feels like a more complete character he still has some issues like attacks hitting him while permiated but this is a step in the right direction

I’ve been having a blast with Mirio even though I’m struggling. But I think it’s a good challenge instead of the projectile spams. Plus, learning to predict is the real Mirio experience lol

His whole character in the show and fight style is based on him predicting the enemy's movements perfectly and knowing when to engage and disengage. I think they illustrated that well taking it from the anime into this game. If your play style is not about speedy predictions he's not a good character to roll for. Everything in his kit is about being focused. You can't really use his abilities effectively if you are not paying attention to your enemies movements but if you can he can really be a menace. I think he's quite balanced he has a lot of bugs that need work he has a lot of disadvantages in hp when it comes to reaching the final phase in the circle, as all rapids do. Being able to survive in tight spaces will separate the experienced rapid player from the novice ones.

I agree it’s something byking does very well making characters feel the same as they are in the show but like I said in the video he is a character a lot of people are going to struggle with since he’s not just point and shoot like everyone else I do think In the future he will be better because his current bugs hold him back quite a lot imo

It's worth it because I got it first 10 rolls and I got strike deku first 10 rolls too so now I can save up for Dabi quirk 👍🏻

Unfortunately I'm saving up to 9,000 Roll Tickets for Shigaraki's Season 6 costume along with his Catastrophe skill set and Deku's Dark Hero set for his Epsilon costume. Not Mirio or ANYONE are worth wasting my tickets. If the developers had given us 100 million roll tickets as celebration of the copies sold, we'd have good reason to keep playing.

Been playing Mirio on PC and he clicked almosf instantly. I love the freedom of movement permeation provides and as a Kiri main a melee only moveset with more skill involved is something I love seeing more of. I think he may be one of the better characters in the game even with occasional permeation bugs and I'm always finding him in final circles on PC as of late (the aiming thing I feel isnt really an issue if you're good and know how to approach the opponent more effectively. Charging especially gives you time to feel out the enemy and strike.)

His movement by far is the best in game and he’s very fun but some of the issues for me make him not as usable as other characters but hopefully they get fixed soon

Mirio's Gamma is not "bugged". Not to the extent you say it is at least. Mirio's Gamma won't block any attack already in the shield. So if you directly land on a Shigaraki Beta and Gamma, you will still take damage. Also you missed one very important thing with his Special Action. If you use aim mode and look at your teammate, can use it to zoom straight to them, whether alive or downed, while still in permeation. Also I think Mirio is perfectly fine as he is now, in fact I think he should be nerfed. Mirio has a bit of a combo game, you could actually melt people with no shield and it's not that hard. He's not like other strong characters where their strengths are more straightforward and you get results right away, Mirio is way more of a hit-and-run character so you can't really play aggressive with him. He's a hard character, but just like Aizawa, if you learn to get good with him you can be a MENACE. If there's any buffs I would give him, it would be tracking on his uncharged Alpha. It is basically a shorter Iida Alpha so I don't see any problem with giving tracking to this move. Charged Alpha should stay the same with how strong it is, since it's not only good for attacking, but it's good for surprising people and insane for escaping. To be specific on what I'd nerf about him, it's his Beta. As of now you are required to have lightning speed reaction time if you want to dodge it. And yes, there is a SFX that plays when he uses it so you can tell when he's going to use it. But since you can hold the move and use it when you want, good players won't hit you right away if it's too predictable, so in the end you just have to blessed with insane reaction time or pray that you predict it right. On top of this the move does SO MUCH DAMAGE! Going from 114-162 damage is CRIMINAL for a move this good. On top of all this, this move is Mirio's biggest and best combo starter. So we've got a move that's almost impossible to dodge if you're not cracked, has crazy damage by itself, and on top of that is his best combo starter into his other powerful moves. But of course instead of nerfing him, their gonna give tracking to his Charged Alpha that is already a good move, giving him 2 overpowered moves.

It doesn't matter if he lands on shiggy beta or alpha if shiggy is level 9 alpha it'll go through the shield regardless

I agree he does have a high skill ceiling but at the same time he also has a lot of jank I think when that gets fixed he Will definitely be worth your tickets

2 words git gud! Took me like 100 deaths to figure out he’s combos and how to predict where my opponent will move but once you get that feeling the more you do it the easier it becomes now it’s second nature to me, the only problem he has it’s fighting another Mirio it’s just irritating since ya can’t hit each other. The other problem is he has one too many flaws he’s alpha glitches alot, drops for no reason, misses and phases tight through the opponent and also people can just run into your shield if they not attack and attack you after pretty useless since already everyone knows how to counter it only use now it’s to incorporate it in a combo, or protection for 1-2 attacks at best.
