Is Less Makeup Better? Makeup Over 60

Do you agree that less is more when it comes to makeup? As a makeup lover, I really like the art of applying more but I know that less is probably best. However, there is a time and place for both and today is definitely about “less” and a much more natural look.

Hey there! I'm only 47 but thoroughly enjoy watching your channel. I found you a few weeks ago. I come from a long line of women with skin that is wrinkly and creased in their older ages so I am trying to do what I can to help prevent that as much as possible. I hope you are recovering well from your surgery ❤

Kelly, so happy to have you here. Just working on a good skincare routine and staying committed to it is the best way to go. I also find mixing it up every 6 months or so helps to awaken the skin. Sort of like when we swap out new shampoo and our hair looks amazing. Hugs, KC

I vote with your grandmother, I think the foundation blocks a lot of UV rays and protects the skin. I dont wear sunblock under make-up, never have. And at 64, I have very good skin, even though we didn't grow up in the 'sun-smart' era....hardly ever wore sunblock and did get burnt in summer, swimming all day as kids... my husband has paid for it with skin cancers on his face, but ageing, nope, not been an issue.

I always put eyeshadow on my under eyes although sometimes if it’s defining enough, I don’t use mascara.
