first off, carti def didnt diss uzi bc that wasnt the first time carti posted a diss and its at benji if anyone but not uzi, also one thing about uzi is that his music def isnt the same because there is no full creative direction with anything since eternal atake (the music isnt as good as the rollout due to the leaks but still delivered with the deluxe too) and pink tape was all over the place. experimental music like pink tape is amazing and i liked most of it but there was no proper rollout (took over 2 years and on and off), bad to little promotion from uzi himself and the label, and features are solid but really fumbled the carti feature (apparently it was cartis fault he isnt on pink tape but still teased the feature for nothing), not enough hype, and so many more reasons pink tape didnt hit EA level and not the best work. and carti is jus him now and passed uzi when it comes to rollouts, artist evolution, promotion, etc. uzi jus got bullied by fans and folded and took too long to evolve fully as an artist but hes still a goat but yea.

Bff Carti got hella clout off of Asap mob and then Uzi gave him the hit Shoota og version got 2 verses no Carti, the OG version of Of course we ghetto flowers also had 2 Uzi verses and 1 offset verse, also the Collab Woke Up Like This, if you want to talk about clout Carti might have it over Uzi but his fans need to show that in his sales, get him a top 10 song without a FT, get him 150k plus sales. You know what, you’re absolutely right. The problem with Uzi is that the rock rap wave that is blessing carti is not going to be his Lane, or at least he hasn’t perfected it. They're good songs, for me they're great cause I really fw Uzi and his music and it's about the same for me with Carti's new songs, I really fw them cause I really fw Carti and his style but I also understand why some people find them just alright. Uzi's had his moment and now it's Carti's, both still great imo.
