Question about ur sb3. Is it good for throwing small scale raves. Is the bass good or are there better options ? Cause its an expensive thing so i dont want to buy it unless i know for certain that the quality is as good as it can get with a battery based speaker.

Do you know where I can get a portible blue tooth speaker with a built in Equalizer? I've checked out Best Buy, I don't like what they sell. I've had JVC boombox before and have listened to Velodyne Speakers before and I'll never forget those sounds. The thing that made the JVC really cool was the built in Equalizer and the base booster, that was in 1990. Well now, I don't need a cassette player, CD player, or turn table, so, what can I get that's portible that has the same sound and Equalizer like that JVC boom box I once had, or, the bump and shake of the 15 inch Velodyne Subwoofer that I heard at Good Guys, but never got, but I still can't get those sounds out of my head. Or, if I have to go to somebody that can custom make the speaker, let me know that too. All I'm looking for iz, one nice speaker I can connect with a cable to an mp3 player, or, an Iphone if I want to which is why I want the blue tooth in the first place. I just gotta have my boomboomboom and my Equalizer with it.

As a DJ just bought 2 Yamaha dbr 15 speakers for the price of one Soundbok. Has 15 inch woofers and one inch celestion pro hf driver. Rated 131 db each. Has onboard built in eq. They go loud. But this is portable and easier to handle and I was impressed the sound, although it never got cranked. Better remote control and Bluetooth helps. I guess it all depends on your use as in portability. The new Ghetto Blaster. But would be ideal for a small outdoor ceremony or bush party.

Did you get it? The sound boks has luxury premium deep clear sounding bass that you can feel. No comparison even with 2 hyper boom speakers linked. My friend has 2 of them & my sound boks 3 knocks it out the park. Plus sb has portable replaceable batteries as where hyper boom has a built in battery.

They sound great at the beach, no speaker is louder. No competition. And sound is clean! Just a but heavy so I stick with ion audio for loud clear sound but more portable for 100w speakers. But ion cannot compete with soundbok. I won't even turn my 170w ion speakers on if someone has a soundbok within 50 to 100 feet because it's so overpowering.

With the volume you can go in your samsung settings and go to Bluetooth advance and set your volume sync setting to on which will sync the volume of the speaker with the volume so its all just 1 volume adjustment

I would bef raise company to add wheels at the bottom for next generation. It's too big and heavy to be carrying by hand especially trying to drag it on Sand or through a park. Wide wheels for sand would be ideal. I guarantee it would sell like hotcakes if they added some sturdy wheels and a handle.

Best way to test a loud speaker is in a noisy area like downtown, with all the cars honking people talking, emergency vehicle sirens, or even just regular traffic. Can it hang with regular traffic noise cause in a quiet area outside in the park is nothing. What seems loud in a quiet outdoor area is nothing in a noisy downtown traffic area. Just from my experience.

This shit is so loud outside nothing can compete with it. Heard it at a few beaches and it will drown any speaker 50 to 100 feet easily. Sound is very clean, I'm envious.

Agree. I tested a Sony XG500 which goes way too loud indoors and even outside at a quiet spot. Until I took it out for a ride in a cargo bike amidst traffic and other cycles, where it didn't have enough power to stand out.

@@krewcialofficial exactly. See. I picked up Sony SRS XP 700. I'm a street performer so I wanted to use that big speaker for my show. I ended up sending the blasted thing back cause it's no good for me. Such a big speaker that can't even get that loud even though they promote it as a loud speaker. Yea, loud indoors or in a quiet area. The Sony XB60 is louder than the XP700 and it's smaller, lighter, costs less and it's older. Believe it came out 4 years earlier. It can stand out in downtown traffic better too. That's one thing I wish people did in these reviews. Test it out in downtown traffic.

THE SOUNDBOKS 3 CAN NOT BE PLAYED FULL VOLUME EXCEPT FOR OFF THE BATTERY. MEANING YOU CANT JUST PLUG IT INTO THE WALL AND MAX IT, IT WILL SHUT OFF. THIS TO ME IS A HUGE DESIGN FLAW. I GET ITS MEANT TO BE PORTABLE, BUT THE IDEA THAT THE SPEAKER CAN NOT BE USED PAST 5 VOLUME WHILE CHARGING, OR WHILE PLUGGED INTO THE WALL, AND ONLY OFF OF A FULL CHARGE BATTERY IS WILD.
