It sounds like both Madrid and Barcelona are great cities, but maybe for different reasons. I'm surprised that Madrid doesn't have a lot of kioskos--like you said, they're great places to get a quick drink or snack in Buenos Aires. I'm also surprised that restaurants aren't open super late in Madrid, either. Thanks for this great video comparing the two cities, especially discussing the nuances that you might not notice if you are only there for a short period of time. As always, very informative video!

I'm so glad you liked the video! Yes, I was also a bit surprised by those things. Especially by the restaurants closing so early, it doesn't give people the opportunity to grab something to eat with friends!

@@sabrinahuyke it didn't use to be like that..Some or many years ago you could take your time at sobremesa and if you were still hungry nobody in the kitchen would refuse to prepare you something Nowadays the workers prefer to go home and forget about work...until the following day

As for the kiosks:there are so many many small, simple bars in Spain where you can have a quick drink and a bite standing up at the counter, you pay and you leave. There are still a few kiosks in Retiro,Castellana, but you get a better variety of food and drink at the small, simple bars

Sabrina...you have missed a number of parks in Mad..Casa de Campo,Parque del Oeste, etc. And as for the bike lanes, for people who don't appreciate cycling is a plague..Bikes Lanes everywhere and when driving your car you have to keep your distance ,never overtake them, and they would still look at you with an unpleasant face and even swear at you Anyway you must have been ecstatic to be back in B A

Si, no te puedo decir que eso no es cierto jajaja Pero tambien diria que los precios en ambas ciudades estan siendo cada vez mas dificiles de pagar para quienes viven ahi.

Don't you think the whole 'stay up/party all night' mindset is a big part of Argentina's economic problem? Early to bed, early to rise is part of a successful productivity ethos.

You work like everywhere else, but life doesn't end at 8 at night...You can watch a movie and go to bed at 11... weekends are something else... Asian countries with a lot of stress hurt their inhabitants, in addition to the high rates of $%&&#3 Latin America is the place where people from stressful backgrounds come to discover kindness, friendship and find peace. The problem is passion, a poorly directed passion can lead to voting very badly.

Hi there! I think that the economic problem in Argentina is a lot bigger than people staying up till late at night hahaha Especially because people are not actually partying every day. Sure, many people do love going out dancing, but the vast majority of the activity is actually just grabbing a chill drink with friends, going out to eat, hanging out at a park. It's a lot more chill than people think.
How I learned most coaching programs are scams.
