@@KeepsItReal5555 traditional businesses raise money by selling shares in their company to investors to fund their development. CRYPTOYS raised about 22 million from the onset to do this. Mattel is also more than just an investor, but a partner, who can provide additional funding as required to finish the product. Although we do not have an exact number of their sales, we know star wars volume 1 almost sold out at 30k mints. Let’s just say that between all the different drops they sold 25k of them since there were some bogo involved and we will be super conservative as I think they likely sold more. Multiply that by 40 usd and it’s reasonable to suggest they have revenue around 1 mil. Assuming they have 20 FTE equivalent employees making average 70k, they still have a decade to finish their platform building. There are licensing fees and other expenses, but the clock is a very long way from running out

@@KeepsItReal5555 no, there’s employees and there’s FTE. I don’t believe any of these companies roll with 100% full time employees. Look at Veve, their community managers don’t work full time jobs necessarily covering the project. Even at 60 employees at full time 100% hours (which I doubt), they have plenty of funding to “keep the lights on”. If you’ve done your research enough to know the number of employees, then nothing I just told you about their funding or their sales should be news to you and we can both agree these guys aren’t going bankrupt anytime soon.
