I’ve been collecting for over 10 years, have stuff from the very beginning and been through its golden era to where we are now, and I’m at the point now where I’m done with Funko, mass produced with hardly anything special anymore, I know everyone says they don’t collect for value etc but when you’ve got a Pop! that you picked up for retail that becomes expensive is a fantastic feeling for a collector, I’ve got all the early Disney, Marvel, DC and most Freddy exclusives all picked up way before Funko went “big” which I have kept hold of all these years and now I have hardly love or excitement for them which I never thought would be the case.

The Collector Corps boxes have been pretty decent. However, I just unsubscribed from receiving them and the one you opened is the first one I haven't received. I did that because I have noticed, especially lately, that not longer after the boxes go out, they often go on sale on Amazon. Some boxes even go on sale for under $10. I'd rather take my chances and wait for them to go on sale and pick the ones I actually want than to keep paying $30 (+tax) every time one is released.

I’ve never forgiven them since early on I had to pay flipper prices to get a MCC box sent to the UK then about a year later they released the Squirrel Girl pop in Europe as a common.
