Mbale City and many upcountry towns and cities have so much potential because the residential areas are well gazetted out of the CBD, with roads that only need tarmacing the buildings renovated. I personally love home( Mbale), Jinja, Lira, Gulu, Fortportal, Mbarara, Arua and Entebbe. These have so much potential of being bigger and better Cities than Kampala.

Mbale was the prettiest town in whole of East Africa in the 60s and 70s, a lot of the buildings were built by Asians back then.. and Mbale is in my heart, unfortunately and sadly Uhuru Park has been completely destroyed by illegal building of houses and other things and looks like the European Town has disappeared as well.

well my brother mount wanale is just a rigde stretching from mount ELGON, So we call it a foot hill and without wanale in the background you would clearly see mount elgon. WANALE is 3984 FEET whereas mount ELGON 4954 FEET
