According to me, 50% criteria is better than 50%ile, bcz in the 50%ile case you are directly saying to the half of the students that you would be failed. But, in the 50% case, it will be like, "Jo 50% le aayega woh pass hoga, aagar sab le aaye toh sab pass hoga". Although, I'm also accepting it, if there will be negative marking, then it will be very hard to score 50% in the paper setted by AIIMS Delhi & the passing rate can even go below 25%. What about the post graduations (MD/MS)??How would they get a college after this NEXT exam for pg training?? I don't think that everyone who get abv 50% will be able to do MD/MS because that much seats aren't available only for pg training!!! And so, if one even scores abv 50% getting a registered practitioner, he might not be eligible for Md/Ms. Then what will be the scene for him?? Will there be another exam for them??

This is a foolish comment. Why medical students won't pass the exam? As if previously they didn't pass their university exam. Why do everyone assumes MCQ paper unpassable. Have the faith. Don't spread negativity..

I don't think you won't passed in nextbu eventually what will happen is if aiims makes it inicet exams level then you might lose 1-2 years in preparation of next..so eventually you have to study longer time to complete mbbs.

Actually this exam is very good to handle saturation and bring back the original value of mbbs. Also everyone has to bring 50% which is kind of equality for all students including reserved criteria and private college students which was very much needed. Now people cannot just pay and get into a private college and "buy" their degree but actually deserve their degree.
