Mew is perfectly fine, it didn't even need buffs to begin with. I played for the first time in a few days and the opposing mew was far from weak

Finally getting to play mew more often, got the green badge recently too! It's perfect right now. Even if mew is still very strong, you can only use it well if you are actually skilled. That's why I thonk it hit the sweet spot now 😊

Perfect is too much, it lacks damage besides his boosted, have high cooldowns and is not rewarding for how hard it is. Mew players will continue to Mewing matches, but it is in a really dead spot right now. Too much effort for low reward. I'm still playing with it because it's so fun to play.

Yea, but dragapult is an auto attacker. And like cris said, dragapult is really bad in lane, i have yet to see a single lane dragapul do more than 30k dmg

@@lsnorlax9653 problem is that you rarely see exp share in solo q xd, otherwise yea, dragapult becomes good if it reaches level 5 and while jungle guarantees that lvl5, in lane you are not gonna have a good time is your ally isnt holding exp share

Plus your energy and bluntness is very respectable. You're gold man. Also listening to you spectate on your other chanel is straight up awesome. Just as good as any perfesaional commentator I've heard so far if not better.

mew 1000% is still fine, I wish mew never got changed to begin with (like before the random buff and recent nerf), I liked that version of mew the best [tho tbf, the spell vamp *is* pretty nice]. I probably would've preferred solar beam to be stronger, but without the crazy cooldown buff, but like. mew is mew, you can do soooo much with the character and the character is still so unpunishable (if you're completely awful with the character that is), that as long as you're a decent mew, you can always provide value to the team. And surf is still super giga toxic and not enough people complain about it

I mean solar beam is just dead. You can still get 3 or 4 big solar beams, but it's just bad against late game comps. Skill can make up for all this, and electro ball, surf still good but miss the mew we had since beggining. Gamefreak just keeps buffing and nerfing and never figuring out which mon actually needs it

Honestly I'm fine with mew getting nerfs, it's just solar beam that I dislike. The ONE MOVE that takes skill in this guy's arsenal, and you nerf it to not even deal enough damage to tickle a Blastoise💀

If memory serves, they reduced Solar Beam's cooldown one patch before this nerf. So reducing the damage output makes total sense. They were trying to increase its pick rate but really those buffs were a bit too much.

•Mew SB without LS does 1197 at lvl 9 •Mew SB with LS does 1554 at lvl 9 •Venu SB does 2110 at lvl 9 without factoring in the max HP ticks or lowering enemy defenses with SB Both moves have the same CD until the + versions While that is a big damage difference between the same move on different mons, Mew has the ability to change to another move and immediately perform another attack unlike Venu. Mew also has a boosted that does a sizable amount of damage too.

I will say this one thing , In any moba game if the skill ceiling of the entity is high, that entity deserves to be busted.. In Pokemon unite few such Pokemons like mew, dodrio, greedent, like they should be OP, compared to Pokemons like lapras, mewtwo, zacian, comfey.

I’m a Mew main, and I wholeheartedly couldn’t care less what buffs and nerfs he gets. His power comes from the exceptional versatility, not the turn-off-brain-spam-A-get-penta-no-sweat style. People just don’t like putting in the actual work for that full potential. As for me, I’m doing perfectly fine. FYI, I play on an iPad, so device isn’t an excuse for being bad.

I think they just want to reduce Mew's burst since it was too good at getting Ray, while making solar beam really good late game. I think Mew is fine, it's still fairly difficult to play though.

the espeon unite just before ray spawn was so gigabrain infinite iq, pushing them into ray pit so they'd be trapped (real) (not cope) (definitely not a bad play that ended up being good on accident)

Mew is like Tsareena, if you nerf it too much, it's ok for proficient players, but it sucks for people who are trying to play. If you buff it, proficient players are going to dominate the match. That's complicated because beginners will not feel inclined to play it

Mew is just fine now, dare I say balanced? The only people saying Mew is "unplayable" now are the casual one-trick ponies who only played it bc they knew it was OP after it had gotten the solarbeam buffs (and only used Solarbeam as a result, neglecting to learn how to juggle its movesets).

Define balanced. Dragupult exists, Mewtwo Y still claps Mew in direct confrontations, Inteleon and Mimikyu do as well and essentially every other top tier as well. "Balanced" would be a mew that could compete at such a tier. This damage nerf certainly didn't do it any favors, and the only people whining about how "op" Mew was were low skill players honestly just got outplayed(in which case said damage is deserved, you shouldn't be getting hit by a solar beam anyway🤦‍♀️)

mew is a pokemon that requires skills, the unskilled ones just wanted it to have low enough CDs to abuse it. As a mew main, I feel offended by this kind of people who only like sure hits or mons that don't need skills to be used and complain about the one that requires skills (aka mewtwo cancer users and inteleon's liquidation por example, kinda cringe)

it is still very good pokemon, and it needed the nerfs to make it more balanced, however, we are not playing a balanced game at all. It was already very difficult for mew to deal with characters like zacian, the mewtwos that also had a pocket support like a comfey or a blissey.And now that mews damage is nerfed, it is even more difficult to deal with them. Obviously it needed some nerfs, and I would love to play a balanced game where I can play tsareena and not die for going for one stack when theres a zacian on the other side of the lane. The problem is that they nerf pokemons without balancing the rest of them. Mew needed nerfs? yes, zacian needed buffs? probably not

Mew is unplayable. Viable yes, but unplayable in the sense that they made him super boring to play. I enjoyed the thrill of hitting solar beams but they made it so bad that you're forced to become another sure hit robot. That's not fun to me tbh and I'm sure to other Mew mains

I have 500 battles with Mew for the challenge. If I wanted a sure hitter I would play Glaceon or Inteleon

Even if solar beam has underwhelming damage, its range and horizontal aoe far exceeds eball such that there still exists a lot of situations where sb is the better option. You were never forced into a sure hit move, you’re choosing to just as you probably chose to use pre-nerf sb 90% of the time

Nah i think they should nerf mew even more 💀💀 I mean only the light screen. The light screen pushing is just annoying and for some reason poweruppunch plus gets interrupted by lightscreen. Plus i dont think even full heal makes you immune to the pushing of lightscreen.
