For twenty plus years I traveled from Northern California to Baja Sur and love it so much. The last three years I even trailered my little boat down and spent time on the water in Bahia Conception, Loreto, La Paz and Cabo. What a place to have a boat! In 2019 we decided we had enough of the awful political rancor in the USA and sold our business and home. After traveling around mainland Mexico we decided on buying a home in Bucerias. It has been an amazing experience living here! With Covid seemingly on the way out we are now planning more road trips into Central Mexico. The people, the culture, the weather, what a paradise!

I have a question with first some following detail . Baja Sur a lot of the town's are not on street views it looks almost altered on satellite images in some portions in the mountains . is it easy to set a business with the secretary of state ? What are the regulations of setting up both water and oil wells? Do you have ulities or do you use your own water wells? Is internet out there ? How much is a typical house in Baja Sur and can I buy government owned land as a foreigner under a agent , and if so generally how much per acre and what are the chances it was a toxic dump site ?

@@wertiaaudit5746 I can answer some of your questions; I've visited San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas lots of times cuz I have some family there; according to average house's are relatively decent specifically in common suburbs you've two floors, two room's, two bathrooms and kinda spect to have Americans expats and Canadians expats living with locals in the same average suburbs; the really nice ones that maybe we can't se on Google earth are in San Jose del Cabo and some in la paz, but I've never visited la paz. According to wells, the south of the Baja California peninsula is pretty dryer than you may though, indeed it exists water yields the mexican government is already making free salt plants in order to provide potable water in that area; there was mining denied contracts because of the lack of water and future soil pollution for the whole state of Baja California sur, My recommendation; outside of the touristy área all town's are not so pedestrian you'll need a car for going to supermarket and everywhere and public highways are not so paved well so you might have to pay for picking tollbooth. Outside of that; the whole state is pretty clean ,safe and thriving according to my perception.

@The Taco Kawaii I get the point it's unfortunate that Mexico is in the middle of so much 💩on one side Canada,U.S. the other Central America,South America and Caribbean. Mexico has always had invasions since our ancestors and massive immigration issues too from other countries that don't work and do Horrible things in Mexico unfortunately. Yet Mexico and Mexicans always get blamed for everything. The good hard working people of Mexico don't deserve this neither the U.S.

I was once chased through a market area in Guadalajara! I'd left my rucksack behind in a bar, by mistake and one of the staff ran after me to return it. It had my GoPro and MacBook in there. Yes, I was grateful. Safe? We travelled to about 7 towns, in 3 months, by bus or Uber - didn't have any issues. We only received kindness where ever we travelled to.
