For twenty plus years I traveled from Northern California to Baja Sur and love it so much. The last three years I even trailered my little boat down and spent time on the water in Bahia Conception, Loreto, La Paz and Cabo. What a place to have a boat! In 2019 we decided we had enough of the awful political rancor in the USA and sold our business and home. After traveling around mainland Mexico we decided on buying a home in Bucerias. It has been an amazing experience living here! With Covid seemingly on the way out we are now planning more road trips into Central Mexico. The people, the culture, the weather, what a paradise!

I have a question with first some following detail . Baja Sur a lot of the town's are not on street views it looks almost altered on satellite images in some portions in the mountains . is it easy to set a business with the secretary of state ? What are the regulations of setting up both water and oil wells? Do you have ulities or do you use your own water wells? Is internet out there ? How much is a typical house in Baja Sur and can I buy government owned land as a foreigner under a agent , and if so generally how much per acre and what are the chances it was a toxic dump site ?

@@wertiaaudit5746 I can answer some of your questions; I've visited San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas lots of times cuz I have some family there; according to average house's are relatively decent specifically in common suburbs you've two floors, two room's, two bathrooms and kinda spect to have Americans expats and Canadians expats living with locals in the same average suburbs; the really nice ones that maybe we can't se on Google earth are in San Jose del Cabo and some in la paz, but I've never visited la paz. According to wells, the south of the Baja California peninsula is pretty dryer than you may though, indeed it exists water yields the mexican government is already making free salt plants in order to provide potable water in that area; there was mining denied contracts because of the lack of water and future soil pollution for the whole state of Baja California sur, My recommendation; outside of the touristy área all town's are not so pedestrian you'll need a car for going to supermarket and everywhere and public highways are not so paved well so you might have to pay for picking tollbooth. Outside of that; the whole state is pretty clean ,safe and thriving according to my perception.

@The Taco Kawaii I get the point it's unfortunate that Mexico is in the middle of so much 💩on one side Canada,U.S. the other Central America,South America and Caribbean. Mexico has always had invasions since our ancestors and massive immigration issues too from other countries that don't work and do Horrible things in Mexico unfortunately. Yet Mexico and Mexicans always get blamed for everything. The good hard working people of Mexico don't deserve this neither the U.S.

Well, I’m 43 years old. And I’ve lived in México all my life, I’ve traveled to almost every state here. And have been robbed twice in that many years, both times in Mexico City. I have also been robbed twice around the world, in Amsterdam and Chicago, after visiting only a few days.

I was once chased through a market area in Guadalajara! I'd left my rucksack behind in a bar, by mistake and one of the staff ran after me to return it. It had my GoPro and MacBook in there. Yes, I was grateful. Safe? We travelled to about 7 towns, in 3 months, by bus or Uber - didn't have any issues. We only received kindness where ever we travelled to.

The golden ‘rule’ is real. Time permitting, the staff member likely realized that running was in order on account of your good condition. Some times, someone at the bar truly needs something more than you do; and you were too fast for the staffer. 😊

The most dangerous thing that can happen in Mexico is that you fall in love with the people, the lovely places, the wonderful food, the culture, etc. All these elements vary from city to city so I will take you a lifetime to see everything Mexico has to offer. Proud of my people, my culture and my country. We are blessed to have been born in this amazing and magical land. Viva Mexico. Come any time you have only experienced the tip of the iceberg. And inspiring me to do more with my travels . As far as safety in Mexico, I believe you got it .I travel with locals since my partner is from there and I know you can travel safely but must be weary in big cities, it happened to me. In tourist destinations do provide safety unless you don't use common sense specially in the night life. Like in any part of the world. Blessings on your continued travels. All those times going surfing along the coast and never going inland or to the gulf. You both have found so many wonderful oasis' that were so beautiful. That last one was an amazing oasis and a place where I would build a cottage and be happy living. It was a great adventure as they always are when you both make the most amazing videos and take the most magnificent drone footage. Chris and Carol my good and dear friends. I hope you are having fun and didn't get to much of the Hurricane that past by. Thank you both for all the wonderful things you brought us to life and show the beauty of Mexico. I will be in Merida on Sunday for 19 days and driving around the Yucatan. looks like the gopro is staying home, to many issues and very little help to be found. So no underwater but I have my camera/recorder and phone to move to the cloud. Thank you again Chris and Carol, peace and god be with you and your health my friends.🌺👩🏽🌺🎥🧑🏽📸

Thanks for the videos. Very informative. I have enjoyed the few I’ve watched. As to the safety in Mexico….. I have always felt safe travelling in Mexico, although I have mostly been in ‘tourist’ areas. On the other hand I have many friends/family that vacation in Florida. I however, have no interest in visiting there because of the crime rate and the extremist thinking. On the contrary, I would return to Mexico in a heartbeat. Mostly respectful, friendly, peoples there. COVID ends….I’m flying to M. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.
