Microsoft wants to make the Game Family friendly. So to achive that they want to flush out all aspects of Gaming Players like Speed Run Man Hunts Killing PVP. And focus only on the Mine and Craft. That means all the new features should look like a Minecraft Disneyworld for young and Old players not Mojang Players. Microsoft young and Old Players. its getting easyer. All that new features should distraked you from the NORMAL GAMEPLAY of Minecraft PVP the Dragon the Shulkershells. They want a Mincraft that 5-10 year old love to play without harrasment and other "evil" things that could happen to you in a Lets say Anarchy Server. Minecraft is turning into a Blocky Wonderland for Kindergarden Children that love to play Minecraft without Creepers that kill you. You will find out yourself Its changing so rapidly. That is why I left the "NORMAL SURVIVAL" MINECRAFT 2017. Im playing Conquest Reforged Minecraft its harder and more challenging in Creative or Surival because of alle the Textures Recourcces and Block Pallets you have there. and you can built your own world with Mods. make it easyer or even harder for you. Using World Edit for example or Litamatica can be easy if you know what your Doing. But those programms take away first to make mistakes and your Creativity in the Game. That is my oppinion

I can only agree, building is one of my favorite things about Minecraft. Also I never beat the Ender dragon, nor have I ever earned an Elytra. I still can play hours upon hours of Minecraft. Often I play with my parents who are in their 50's, they have a very different playstyle to my own and it is tons of fun. Recently we've been struggling with a Nether Fortress and they don't really know how to take advantage of a Village. All three of us have been playing the game for at least 10 years now, mind you.

Exactly minecraft is a game focused on building! Most people saying minecraft's too easy have also just played for a really long time.

They made minecraft have a more DIVERSE play style. For an example, I HATE MINING NOW, I hate everything about the cave update, I do not think its easier to mine in the junk caves they made, the mine to me used to be a place to go during night because mobs were out on the surface. Now I feel like theres no point going down there if theres just as much mobs down there as there is up, so I use villagers to progress to diamond and beat the game.

wtf is wrong with the cave update? its what everyone wanted and now shitheads like you hate on it. they arent perfect but they are much more fun to explore

When I came back to minecraft I had a time when I created a world, got to diamonds and nether, built a house and got bored, it happened like 10 times. I started looking for a mods to make minecraft harder but I couldnt find anything interesting to me. And then, I watched this video. I was shocked. I realized that I have never beaten wither, gurdians etc. I've beaten dragon once with friends. I have never even seen a netherite ore or new biomes. I realized that minecraft isnt about adrenaline and fight for life like Tarkov or something. Its about freedom, having fun by doing things you choose to do and enjoy doing it. There is no rush. Now I think I enjoy minecraft again, I managed to settle in one world and I enjoy playing it again. Thank You Techbot.

Totally agree with a lot of your points, but if I'm being honest, I find it silly to say Minecraft should not be a survival game, just a game for creativity. I think it would be really cool if Minecraft USES difficulty (i.e. actually hard first nights lol) to encourage creativity / creative solutions to problems. If you can't go out at night without being killed, make sure to build a safe base, for example. I never think Minecraft should try to confine itself to one genre. Minecraft is such a unique game in the sense that it CAN apply to as many genres as it wants, if it just tries. It can be both a challenging survival game and a creative outlet, for example builders could play on easy mode and people who want a more enriched survival experience could go for the hard difficulty mode. This is just my opinion though. I think everything in Minecraft (ESPECIALLY difficulty) should be optional, which I believe is an opinion you share judging by your video on the omen effect (both are awesome vids btw! keep up the great work!)

fr, also netherite is optional, i find it relaxing to go there and look for it while listening to some podcast, i love mining and i don't really interact with the combat part of the game, i like to make my builds, farms and occasionally redstone, but if you dislike the process you can perfectly stick to diamond and do whatever you want, that's what's beautiful about the game, do whatever you want.

1- shields need a nerf its way too op think of that you can block all the attacks expect axes 2- undying totem should be more rare its too easy to get with raid farms 3- they should add a progressive difficulty 4- diamonds and irons should be a bit rarer

Minecraft was a game for the player, but nowadays they make it for the community, because with the internet all information about the game became too easy to obtain, and the game almost don't depends of the abilities, strategy or intelligence of the players.

yeah, if i impose restrictions on myself, like unbind sprint, never use shield, elytra + rockets, and don't enchant any gear. even then once you get to diamond it's not that hard. but given a big red dopamine button with gear upgrades, who's not gonna press that? i just feel like it hurts the game, the monsters are still scaled for that old 2012 playstyle, they haven't been touched since 2015, but answer isn't to restrict the player, what's really needed is redesigning the base mobs from the ground up. but it's just too iconic so nobody at Microsoft would ever dare doing that.

Totally agree that Minecraft was never meant to be a survival game it can be that if you want but the developers seem to be pushing it that route which I think takes so much out of the creativity and all the different things you can do in Minecraft

There was a few popular tweets I saw on Twitter/X that people feel like Minecraft was always a survival game but they feel like it's been losing its survival aspects. Even a dev talked about how when they first added a hunger system to the game to make it feel more survival, that it just feels like it serves no purpose

I DON'T think it's easy. I actually hate the ways they are making it harder with the mending change. That's bull to me. I like mending. And the way I play takes FOREVER to get it. I build villages VERY organically and slowly. It bothers me. I just wanna play a farmer most times, without adventuring feeling like crap when I go to do it. Freaking hate the direction it's going. I'll be playing something like 1.19 or so.

Mending combined with Durability III on all of your armor and tools = get bored quicker. While it may seem pretty cool at first, You might never need to mine again. The items will likely never break. If you have other powerful enchantments combined with these, nothing might be a challenge to you anymore.

In the sense of like, I love Minecraft and the whole concept of the game. But I want that creative freedom system but modded also expands that and it gives me quests and bosses to do as well.

@@joeystuart8598exactly modded Minecraft is a great option for people looking for a survival experience but I won’t argue that it’s not an option for bedrock players which is unfortunate
