Does it have flaws: Yes Is it perfect: No But to me at least I like it, honestly between this and Back to the Future the game (also made by Telltale Games) is also underrated!

i am passingly familiar with this game and yeah honestly i do agree that the first few episodes are pretty mediocre, but i'd say it does get better later on with the latter half of season 1 and the entirety of season 2

I personally like it because its so nostalgic. The OG mario or flappy bird, or tetris arent exactly "amazing" games but its about their originality and the nostalgia you later get. Most of us grew up on this game, thats why it holds a special place even if it has flaws. And at the time, it had an original concept. One of the first to do the "quick time event" type of scenes like in Detroit Become Human. So thats why I personally like it I guess. I am still hoping Season 3 will be made at some point
