Just a heads up on the night time mode, your character holds the gun sideways because they have to aim using an IR laser. IRL It's significantly harder to see down the sights and/or with optics when wearing Night vision goggles. Hope this cleared up some confusion.

Regarding the night vision mode: in real life, infra-red lasers are often used to aim in lue of sights/optics. This is a realistic detail that I really appreciated. Also for gameplay sake, it allowed you to disregard an optic and put a different attachment on. The laser would reveal your position, so the smarter players would choose wisely when to aim down sights.

You were aiming your gun sideways in night vision because the mode makes you do that if you have the goggles on, the stopping power gives you a full mag of ammo, so if you reloaded with 16 left it would carry over to a new magazine

the nightvision mode was pretty cool tbh. your complaint about the holding of a weapon, while, er, justified(?), are kinda bs. you're wearing NVGs, birdman, you're not going to be looking down the sight of a rifle (especially with how close the sight is to the stock). you have a laser, only able to be seen in NV. it's "realistic" in the terms of CoD. Honestly I felt it played like a faster paced BF3 Loved the AC130, absolutely loved it. Best killstreak I wouldn't really go as far to call it Ghosts, but I agree with CoD4. All in all, it served it's purpose as a beta. I liked it, but not enough to pre order (Hactivision, ofc)

Stopping power isn’t on a timer. They give you a full clips worth, but if you reload with bullets still in the clip it carry’s over to next one. So if the gun carries 30 and you use Stopping power and reload with 7 bullets still in clip, the next clip will have the first 7 bullets as stopping power rounds. The thing with the FMAS and other burst weapons is that they rely on good ping in order for them to be reliable. The Beta had this problem for me too as I couldn’t really use certain weapons because other people would kill me faster with automatic weapons and in the kill cam I had just barely fired at them. From my experience that’s what I witnessed, the beta over all was fun but the connectivity being spotty at times almost made me drop it

It seems like stopping power is your clip size regardless of if you reload or not. For example, with the Odin you get 30 stopping power rounds regardless of if you reload or not. You can shoot 11 bullets, reload to get a full 30 in the clip, but only the first 19 of them will have stopping power. I could be wrong but that's what it seems like from my experience

Stopping Power rounds is one clip size. If you have a 30 round mag, the next 30 bullets will be stopping power rounds. If you reload, the leftover bullets carry over to the next magazine. In Night Vision Mode, the reason why they aim sideways is because you can’t aim down sights in real life with giant goggles in-front of you. However you can with pistols and there are certain sights that allow you to aim in with night vision goggles on.

When playing in the night vision mode, if you use the M4 with a scout or hybrid scope you can actually ADS. There are a few other guns that allow it too. Makes the game mode so much better.

Stopping power isn't a time based thing, you just get a full clip of whatever gun you're using. So if you reload your Stopping Power clip and it still has 10 bullets in it the first 10 bullets of your next clip with be stopping power rounds

Stopping power is a full clip's worth of bullets. so even if you reload halfway through your clip it'll carry over, but you'll lose stopping power halfway through that new clip Whit phosphorous doesnt do much in terms of kills (except for the few people that decide to run into the fire), the real effect is that it reduces the max hp of enemies while it's active, making it easier to get kills for the entire team

The reason I assume the gun leans sideways in night vision mode is because night vision goggles have them long telescope looking things coming from the eye portion on the Goggle so your unable to ADS so It makes it more realistic to make the gun lean sideways in game using the laser sight to aim

Think about it if the white phosphorus streak destroys part of the map pros can use that therefore very expensive

I was thinking, tho I haven't played the beta, it could be used in like a tactical way to cut off a route and force the enemy to go the way you want them..or even in Domination completely cut off a flag so that it remains under your control.

White phosphorus is dope man. It's a huge aoe deterrent. Gives tick damage and assist points for any kill on map. It will pair better in the release, will be a perk that converts kill streaks to score streak Edit: there's a perk, "killchain" that cycles streaks.

I’ve had first hand experience with Night Vision, and shooting through the sights is pretty difficult, that’s why we use the IRL to easily shoot without aiming down.

Stopping power works for 1 clip (being however many bullets one full clip is for your gun, including extended mags) So say you have an AR with 45 round magazines, once you activate stopping power, the next 45 rounds you fire from your weapon will have the stopping power effect.

Im not entirely sure, but I'm pretty sure the stopping power gives you the amount of bullets that one clip uses. So if you use the M4A1 (which holds 30 rounds) the next 30 bullets that you shoot will have stopping power, no matter if you reload
