what a coincidence, my mother that's from Nicaragua used to work at a tobacco field in Jalapa, Nicaragua and they were actually one of the fields that supplied tobacco leaf for Casa de Nicaragua in the early 2000's

Really cool talk about the moral and ethical nonissue presented by money. Many create ad hominem arguments against the rich but really resent the abusive system of capitalism and not the wealth itself. The system which allows such concentration of wealth is faulty, and perhaps just the regulation of that system is libel.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s not the existence of wealth itself, but rather the concentration of wealth (often driven by greed) that presents the real problem. No one really needs 50 billion dollars. On the other hand, communism presents its own extreme. In a fair society, a taxi driver and a brain surgeon shouldn’t be earning the same amount, as the skills, education, and responsibilities are vastly different. The solution probably lies somewhere in between capitalism and communism, where wealth can be accumulated but within reasonable and ethical limits, and where systems are designed to ensure that basic fairness and opportunity are protected. A balanced approach would allow for personal success without the extreme disparities that fuel societal issues.
