How did they cheated guide? Guide cheated them. They should have told them beforehand that what's included and what's not included in the trip. This is what traveling agencies do all across the world where they get commission from these type of guide, restaurants, toilets and other people without telling tourists beforehand that it's not included in their trip money. Also, you can tell that they enjoyed their trip without the help of guide. It's not like they're criticizing entire Morocco. They only criticized tour agency.
