Its not the same at all, MK1 has a top 1 meta, Luke isn't close to top 1, it's just because SF had a recent patch and Luke got some good buffs, still not top tho.

SF is much better on balance, if it was last year sure, SF balance wasn’t the greatest then but they actually improved it unlike MK1 in which it didn’t improve it just changed

I love the MK franchise but SF6 is far better than MK1, far better gameplay, far better fundamentally, far superior competitively, every game is going to have a meta but the biggest difference is Homelander is 100% top 1 in MK1, Luke is no way near the best in SF6, he just got some good buffs regarding push back and some scaling (still has poor damage tho)

The FGC has have this attitude towards MK for years. I don't understand why. Maybe they are butt hurt that MK have been outselling their games for over a decade but I don't know. And I say this as someone who loves playing SF6, TK8 and MK1. As a community we should be supporting each other instead of making fun of other people because they don't play the same games as you.

@ I okay all the games (SF6,T8,GGST,MK1) so i actually do know what I’m taking about. Tekken players for the most part keep to themselves. MK1 while I can enjoy playing it at times, it is still not an ideal game really, it’s not that good of an MK game

Comparing sf6 with mk1 makes no sense at all, luke was a very good character but homelander is just busted, luke was like johnny cage. Mk1 is a bad product, balancing is one of the many issues
