Dhoni is 38 years old, he's still very fit and very quick on his feet, hence why he's still in team.To be a cricketer you have to be extremely fit physically and mentally, especially the pace bowlers, to generate that kind of pace takes a a lot out of your body so a lot of strength agility and endurance is required. Normally cricketers retire when they are around 38 to 40 years old.

You can play cricket till like 35 usually and Dhoni is 38 right now. And for the stamina thing and jumping running around in the field, in cricket you can take breath for minute or so here and there, but it is a long game and while fielding everyone has to run around for whole day. Wicket keepers have most tiring job, cause they have squat for every ball thrown. In test match, there are 90 overs and every over has 6 balls, so a keeper has to squat 540 times through out the day while staying sharp as well. In One Day International matches, Wicket keepers have to squat for 50 overs and then come and smash those balls as well.

Let me tell you more about dhoni greatness 1 came from a small town and till now he is the only one to have made it to india team from that region 2 zero technique he is very bad technique but still pick up his record they are as good as the greatest legends (in cricket most of the record are held by opners or middle order batsman it is impossible for a lower order batsman to make such records) 3. He being a no 3 no 4 batsman he sacrificed hia place foe youngsters and batted at no 7 for most of his career and no 7 is not a very good position to bat in cricket 4. India has 98% win ratio when ever he remains not out 5. He won the 2007 t20 world cup with new inexpeeienced cricketers then made changes to the team which went on to win 2011 worldcup 6. He has done so many impossible things god knows how he does it he takes the match very deep.....and somehow manages to clinch victory There is so much more to speak dhoni it will take ages to find someone like him The captain cool the chase master the fastest wicketkeeper Love you dhoni
