ROOF COVER WORKIN GOOD!.. ITS 74 HERE IN MY CALLEN CAMPER WITH MY WALMART AC 5000 BTU AND A FAN ROLLING, ITS 90 OUTSIDE. YA, ALL YOU NEED ARE SOME DIAGONALS AT THE CORNERS AND PEAK BEAM AND THAT THING WILL BE SUPER RIGID. MY 10X20S HERE ON MY HOMESTEAD ARE ALL BRACED WITH 4 FOOT DIAGONALS. STOKED TO SEE SIERRA STILL LIVIN HER BEST LIFE... BLESS HER. ENJOY THE MONSOONS, ITS DARN WARM HERE IN THE CRATERS OF THE MOON.

Do what you want, but you have good strong and straight wood for the roof, you should get some store bought or milled lumber for the posts that are holding up the roof structure, it's alot of weight over top of your camper. But do what ya want and good luck

I just love the topography of your property. You have a great mix of vegetation and tree types too. Happy for you that you found such a great location. I like the idea of the POA vs a typical HOA. I would NEVER buy property in an HOA or 'Gated' community. Have a great week out there!

In my place in Northern Michigan, snow load would require 2 1/2 times the lumber @ 16 inch spacing. A bit of shade must sure help in your climate there.

Just subbed. Your living the way I want to live. All my dogs were rescues dogs. Losing a dog is hard. Finding a homeless dog on the side of the road is easy. The last roadside, homeless dog I found was $900 in vet bills the first three months.

Yup I think cancer might be the number one killer of dogs. Because over the course of my life, we've lost 5 dogs total to cancer and one dog to getting hit by a truck. And 3 out of 5 of the cancer cases, we didn't even know the dogs had cancer until it was already too late. Cancer is the only thing in this world that truly scares the ever living crap out of me. 😢

You have plans using your roof for rain catchment? If so, and you plan on using asphalt shingles you may want to test for toxins that could leach out. You wouldn't want to use the water for your vegetable gardens and become ill plus redoing all the hard work you already put in.
