Love is not an action made for video. Don't curse her out because she doesn't blink back. Just show her you love her. And show her she's important, even if she fell into the fish pool outside. Poor thing. Lol. I think your cat is pretty happy, especially bc SHE'S VERY ACTIVE. I'm super duper glad she gets to go outdoors with you all the time. That's a good factor increasing her joy.

I think Mila is happy cat. You have so many activities with her. You take her to walk, hike and hotel vacation in new places. She has lot of toys. And you have lovely weather there🌞. So dont worry.ö🤗. Can you imagine 6 months of cold and snow as we have here🥶. My cat rests during winter and summer he is out as much as possible.

So, on purring, here's two things to consider. First is, female cats have smaller voice boxes than males do. The size of the voice box often determines the loudness of the purr. Second is, sometimes, the purring factor shorts out when they are attentive and want to play. Spectre does not purr loudly. His meow is a squeak. He uses that specific tone to tell me he wants something. Take in contrast his dad, Little Man. He purrs A LOT!!! He's an outdoor cat, but the tragedy is, he wants to be with the humans. He has 2 things working against him, though. He still endemically sprays, because he was neutered at about 2 1/2 - 3 years old. PSA, neuter males as soon as you can, and preferably BEFORE they start spraying. This is just a part of him, now. He doesn't think he's doing anything wrong. The second is, he is FIV+. Spectre hates his daddy, and Little Man refuses to fight back against him, because he loves his boy. My guess is, since the hate began AFTER we neutered him, Spectre doesn't recognize him by scent. That changed when he was neutered. Problem there is, if Spectre bites him and draws blood, he can get infected, and I can't have that. And make no mistake, Spectre WILL bite him. As far as Spectre is concerned, this is an intruder on his territory. The fact that he sprays may also be a reason why Spectre will fight him. On greeting, Spectre doesn't meow to greet me, either. He DOES, however, meet me at the door intently, rubs up against me, and then falls over on the floor and rolls around. That right there is better than a meow or a chirp in my judgment. On cuddling, when a cat or kitten lies next to you, that IS cuddling. Cats can be loving in their own way, but to say they don't respect YOUR boundaries.... ok, sometimes they don't, sure, but if they lay by you, that's likely because they see you're busy. And, in the same way Spectre can detect when my blood sugar is running too high, they can also tell when you're being stressed out. What they do then is based on the cat.

My cat has gut problems.😢 He goes #2 outside of the box sometimes and he doesn't groom himself to perfection. I have tried what the vet said and things are better but not fixed. I adopted him at age 11. He was bullied by another cat to the point his tail was harmed in his last home. I don't know if he is happy but I am working on it. I have had him since the end of April 2023. So he has some trauma and physical issues but I think he is getting happier.

My cat has a very highpitch purr and squeak when he is extra hungry. I don't think thst it is happiness in his case. Actually some things on this list you have to take with a grain of salt. I don't know how well studied all this stuff is. Different cats are different as well.
