Clear communication is key for sure, understanding other perspectives I'd say is another one thats pretty high. Helping build the other person up if they need it giving them space. Letting them enjoy what makes them happy like you I collect having one of your statues even (thank you for taking it to the post office Mrs. X) she didn't bat an eye when she saw my collection she thought they were awesome. Like I enjoy that she collects faeries and even though she buys way to much yarn she crochets really neat things and I do my best to encourage that because it makes her happy. I ignore the fact our guest bedroom is basically filled with yarn lol. Thats all I got for now man awesome vid idea man.

It's interesting hearing more of the backstory for you two. I've been with my girlfriend for over five years and I guess the main thing to me which stands out as fundamental for a relationship is compatibility which could perhaps vary for the specifics across relationships(some people are more needy, some less so, etc.). My girlfriend isn't as much of a team player as I'd like(e.g. I need to sell a statue and she doesn't want to let me use her car) but she is pretty independent, and we lean the same way politically which is good, plus she's a gamer so some shared interests there.

Think a very important aspect is the supportive part, in whatever way you want to interpret that (social, hobbies, financial, etc.). Being able to fall back on each other as well as cheer each other on whenever you try something new is invaluable.

Our kids still call us Mummy and Daddy and they are in their late 20’s and early 30’s, plus they still LOVE cuddles! My wife is amazing as I wouldn’t be where I am without her support, but she feels the same about me. Open conversation and shared relationship goals are very important, plus being able to laugh together. 40 years of marriage and still happy together. I always tell you how much I love seeing Mrs X as she definitely makes the biggest positive difference in your life, as she is obviously very patient and supportive to you. ❤

@@TheXtremeChannelMrX Never a shot at you big guy, but when Mrs X is with you it seems to compliment your overall presence. Seeing you two together, with all the banter, makes you more human, and not just some high flying, rich, seemingly unobtainable, highly confident (possibly arrogant maybe), pushy American. Mrs X (and the occasions when you bring the children on) helps show the loving family man that you are, which provides a much more rounded positive image of you. In my opinion. I would never criticise you as a person, although I do have occasional reservations about some of your political views, but I accept that everyone sees things differently. 😉

I teach and coach, and coaching is a LOT of time. I still say all the time my wife works harder than me just for the fact that she takes care of me and 2 kids and keeps us all on track and running smooth lol
