Nancy dying in Season 5 is the most interesting and probable plot I've heard so far.

honestly i think nancy or will being sacrificed would be the right way to go if the duffers end up killing a main character. lots of people are expecting steve or maybe jonathan to die, so nancy dying would be a big plot twist. i think whoever dies or doesn’t, this season will still be very impactful on the stranger things universe and the duffers will sum it up nicely.

I think the Duffers will kill a Wheeler, but it will be Mike. This is exactly what Vecna showed Nancy. A major character death. And this may be the bittersweet ending of the show that Shawn Levy talked about recently.

I personally think it’s sloppy writing if Nancy gets back with Steve. From season 1 she’s made it clear she didn’t want to have that suburban family life and that’s what Steve wants. To settle down and have a bunch of kids. If you watch the scene you can see the change in her face. She may still have feelings for Steve but ultimately they want different things.

I've been through every scenario thinking the duffer's may kill this person or that person but honestly, at this stage of the guessing game they could kill everyone leaving only eleven. We just don't know but i cant wait to find out

I feel Henry showed her those visions to try to make her feel despair and hopelessness. She however started feeling protective and determined to end him. I hope Nancy is a survivor at the end of season 5. It's just hard to know what the brothers want to do and what characters they actually want to part with.

Nancy doesn’t actually say that they are dead. She chokes up and doesn’t finish the sentence. Possibly she just saw them hurt or them in the upside down. I’m not sure if they did that on purpose or they actually meant that they will die.

There's a couple of things about Nancy's vision that concern me 1 why say Mike's name, I could only think that he tried to stop something and failed and feels responsible 2 no mention of dad ted at all where was he.?

Just my opinion but there may be rewrites unfortunately ( I hope not ), but I have seen this in other shows where they laid out certain details in previous seasons and they get scrapped for the final because of fan outcry. So maybe what happened with Nancy will be forgotten. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong ( especially where other things are concerned ). I've just seen this too many times with other shows.

if the s5 episode titles rumour is true, then its ‘The Vanishing of _Nancy_ Wheeler’ edit: not really related, but i just realized that the amount of letters also matched Holly, as in nancy’s sister. so its possible, if the rumour is true, it could be her as well.

I think it would be more so Holly. They changed actresses to play Holly. The girl who is playing Holly in s5 was in a horror movie. Them changing actresses this late in the show raises to me a red flag. It could have something to do with the fact that the actress who played Holly s1 through 4 had minimal screen time, and I believe she was a twin because of the age laws.

hopper they won't do it they already made him dead in season 3 and the whole point of season 4 is to get him from russia and if they kill him in season 5 saving him from russia will be a waste

They already made us believe he died. If they killed him for good, then all the trouble of getting him out of Russia was for nothing. I think Will is likely, it started with him (kinda) and maybe it ends with him. Steve too maybe.

I dont think Hopper will die. I do believe he may get some form of a happy ending given everything he's gone through even before the gate opened the first time. I don't think Steve will die either, as Joe Keery said in an interview. There are good things in store for Steve. No one else is safe, though, in my opinion. Plus, we lost Eddie, and I don't think they would do that again to Dustin.

The Steve you need to run is Johnathon screaming because they were in a scene together and then Johnathon got attacked and he was yelling for Steve to run and when the director says "grab his throat" he is talking about something (prob vecna) grabbing Jonathan's throat. Steve obviously doesn't listen saving Jonathan and himself (hopefully) and then they go tell the others or smt idk

However I feel like one of them is gonna sacrifice themselves for the other. It would probably be Steve because Steve was a jerk to him in S1 and it would make a really emotional scene if Steve sacrificed himself for Johnathon
