Audio issues aside, thank you David for bringing us Jazz content every day. Keep grinding!

Don't want either player at this point in the rebuild. They are both injured way too often. Thanks for the show.
@jbizzybrown884711 күн бұрын
no, jazz should try to trade for buyouts and keep racing to the bottom without putting extra money on the books.
@daleharapat444011 күн бұрын
As good as Collins is playing, do you really want to trade him? I just think Collins and Sexton with Markannen are a good core. Larry Miller would always build around players like this, in that way you are always competitive.

Putting up good numbers and losing by 25 don’t make them shit. Please tell me you’re joking.
@imnotmike11 күн бұрын
Larry was building around generational talent in Stockton and Malone, and even Mark Eaton. Stockton lead the league in assists every years. Malone was second in scoring every single year. Other players like Blue Edwards and Jeff Malone and Mike Brown were more expendable. Even Thurl Bailey, as good as he was, eventually got traded. I really like both John Collins and Colin Sexton as functional role players, but they are not that kind of generational talent. Lauri is closer to that. John and Colin could be long time role players on the team, or they could be trade assets used to bring in other players or draft picks. Either outcome is acceptable.

Completely agree that Sexton & Collins could be part of a future contending Jazz squad. It's not just the stats that matter. Character matters, too. Look around the league: how many teams have underachieved due to oversized egos in the locker room? Both Collin and John have the drive and maturity to do what it takes to help a team win.

Beautiful stuff. Well stated my friend.

The greater question is how to build a core and then how to add to it…. I doubt we have a core more less a franchise player though some say it is Laurie. The other way to answer all this is to use your system to determine whether players are stars or rotational. What really is Zion? It’s also clear that most fans don’t want to gamble much but the cap space.

I'd be more inclined to get Joel over Zion... But I really don't want either. They just can't stay healthy. I also think we're at least a year away from being ready to make a trade like this. We've got to show that we can be a good team to justify trading away the future for a risky asset.

I’d sure like to see what we could do for Murphy.

Thanks for the forecast! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
@scottmuir612711 күн бұрын
I would do that trade. I love the talent of Zion and his name fits with us having Zion’s national park, Zions peak. I also thin jordan Hawkins is like Jordan Clarkson. I think New Orleans would want more and I wonder if Zion would want to be in Utah or wants to go to New York or LA. His weight and injury history is a concern.
@ChristianHWilliams11 күн бұрын
The only thing I would do for Zion is what we did for Collins which is take on his contract and hope for the best.
@imnotmike11 күн бұрын
But Zion's contract is huge. $36 million this year, going up to $44 million in 27-28. He would keep the team from having the salary space to field a competitive roster for almost half a decade. John Collins is maybe a bit overpaid, but nowhere near as much or for as long as Zion. And Collins at least plays. Zion averages 46 games a year for his career.
@ChristianHWilliams9 күн бұрын
You’re right. My bad. Hence, no to anything involving Williamson.
@anthonykobe123510 күн бұрын
Hell no to Zion. Just tank and rebuild and only trade for an actual stud who actually plays more than 60% of games per season. How do the Jazz get top 20 players!? Umm. . . draft them.
@mateuszzdyb354711 күн бұрын
jazz needs a top guard not pf or centers to make it a contender.

No way too risky! I would have rather have kept Mitchell. It was never explained why Mitchell was traded!

He'll no to all in the title
@spectartacus11 күн бұрын
I heard Zion's contract has some unusually strict stipulations around health. His contract might be rendered invalid soon anyway. Would be a waste of resources to trade for him when the Pel's other option is to just waive him.
@EGumbrecht11 күн бұрын
Zion is never going to take a team deep into the playoffs. Embid could. It would be pointless to dump Gobert and Mitchell to end up with Zion…….
@beaker811111 күн бұрын
No. Absolutely not. Could we stop getting stuck in NBA purgatory and just commit to losing for once? We should have tried to lose for Wembi! Do we ever learn?
@cosmicgumby10 күн бұрын
Commiting to losing is how you become the Pistons. Are the Pels in a good spot because they tanked for Zion?
@alicefcooper515011 күн бұрын
Neither Joel Embid nor Zion Williamson would be a good fit for the Jazz. Neither has demonstrated the leadership skills or professional maturity to become a team leader for the Jazz.

Zion doesn’t work hard enough for minutes on our team. Seriously David.

I dont want to win if winning requires watching embiid playing
@RevelationTestament9 күн бұрын
If Zion got his mind right, he would be defensively awesome. On a good keto program, I could whip him into shape in 6 months, and turn him into a holy court terror. He is eating too much crap, and carrying too much weight - hence the injuries. Embid is too whiney and injury prone even without the weight.
@dennisstansfield462111 күн бұрын
just no on Zion
@2112deadsky11 күн бұрын
both Zion and Joel are too prone to injury anyone who thinks we should just give away Jazz assists for worthless players is a stupid. just like those same stupid people who on draft knight said Dolton Cochet would have been a bad choice at 10 .
