They have always done this with premiums. Crates to hideously expensive to still expensive to quite expensive to a fairly decent price. Unless when it's a Skorpion G or WZ-120 1G FT

Martin Dogger fair point but 252u is honestly a big step ahead considering it’s arguably one of the best tier 8 premiums at least shown on Blitzstars Tank Zeitgeist. It just shows how the pacing is getting faster and faster. How long ago was the 252u introduced again? It was first seen on 5.10, which came it just shy of a year ago. A 1 year old tank has already dropped so much in pricing? Remember how much it was when it first came out? I’m not going to say blitz is dying but there are a lot of stuff you can interpret from this.

It's a strong tank in the right hands, but I just had a couple of games where noobs played it. They think it's this super OP tank which can't be penned and they just yolo in and die in 1 min.

I've had this tank since it was first available. Such a strong sidescraper. You can sit there, bate the whole red team and eat shots for your team in the right spot.

I’ve had this tank since it sold for $45 bucks, and it’s a pure monster. However, the gun just puts me off from playing it even though it seems to hit no matter how big the aiming circle it

8.5k is a decent price. I don't see a reason to get the 10k bundle, most people have money to equip the tank themselves, and the camo is useless since it's not the legendary camo it has in wot pc.

Agreed on the camo. I've asked about it and it didn't get the Defender camo because it's not a member of the Defender tank family in Blitz

Well the defender has a bad name on wot pc(pay to win) so may be thats way WG is not bringing it in to blitz. AS most people won't know that the "defender " and obj 252u are the same tanks.

Best tank for 8.5k gold. Second battle I got Ace. more 4k DMG and more 3k bounced. Very strong tank. easy to play. Now I have more battles and almost 3k medium DMG with 252u.

I am a big fan of you and started playing wot blitz after watching you but i have to say that this Obj 252u is a monster no matter how you play you gonna end up with at least 2200 damage and comparing with IS 6 or IS 5 is worthless since you can get magical deflects also people will hate you because at tier 8 or 9 its it can just obliterate the tier 9 tanks.

what i am really wondering is, why is it more expensive than the Löwe if it has a much worse Credit gain, the Löwe has a woppin 15% more wich makes a huge difference if you play like a 1000 games or so. so i think i am gonna buy the Löwe as my first premium rather than the Obj 252u just cause of that credit gain

Sure its a good Price and it is worht it but.. does blitz need that much strong tanks for cheap money in the game? I mean yes it nice that it doesnt cost like 15k Gold or so. Based off the quality of these player’s decisions, the actual strength of the tank is significantly higher. If you have heavy tanks going to med spots or abandoning high ground and you still have a successful game then the thing is super nub friendly. Of course it makes sense tho since it is russian

Watching these guys play... People dont realise that if you face hug an enemy tank that is a similar size to a 252U and block the enemy's barrel, you become god himself. This tank is a joy to play but dear god, bad players are gonna ruin the 252s worldwide starts even more 😱 Btw comparing IS 5 to 252U and saying its similar = 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 No -_-

I think they have similar playstyles and the IS-5 is a good tank. I do quite well in it. But, yeah i think the 252U is the better tank.

ThatFrench Wolf I would compare the play style of the 252u to the wz112-2 or the plain wz112, you just go face hug and mostly don’t get penned, or go hull down and side scrape

In lower tiers, part of the teams are made up of AI players. In higher tiers, all players are human but some display a play style similar to AI ... lol

I have it for a long time. You cant show your bottom plates. It's dpm is a bit low, but its awesome tournament tank. Thou shall not pass. Also mobility is the best part of the tank.

I too have those tanks and you have to know that none of them come close to the 252 it strikes me as being as godlike as the is3 defender was when I first started playing blitz 5 years ago but I feel this may keep its hold on power for a long time as for it to be power crept as the defender has would be so much harder now due to how many more tanks there are the only way it could suffer is a nerf which won't happen as it's a prem or if wargaming mess with its matchmaking so it meets tier 9 2 of every 3 battles cough helsing lol so I'd say it's a no brainer as to whether to buy or not I just hope its still on sale when my pay goes in the bank!

Type 59, SuperPershing, T34-2, T34-3, etc sees only red and bounces everywhere but the ass, T49 cant pen anywhere, and the 252U is fast and nimble enought to make u miss his lowerplate while he rushes u.....so how to counter this tank when driving a tier 8 med/light tank? Besides you low roll and the 252U high rolls most of the time, so the dpm is the same but 252U has more pen.

Sides and back, you may try also cupolas. And you shouldn't pen easily that tank from the front. Especially not in a light tank.

Both of these tanks are good. Lowe is a bit more about finesse, sidescraping and a brilliant gun. 252 has a blunder buss gun, mobility and troll armour

Tier 8 is flooded with premium tanks. In every game there will be more premiums than regular and all premium are better than tech tree tanks. This game is heading towards its end

Umar Mohamed anything can penetrate the frontal lower plate but the rest is almost impenetrable The hatches are a weak spot as well but hard to hit from afar

@SoundCabbage 778 don't just repeat what others say if you've played against the 252 you should know that huge weak spot is in actuality far less of a weak spot than it might appear on paper it might have been an idea for Martin to have included a little footage of someone actually facing one of these things and then let him point out these weak spots when facing the tank in the hands of a reasonable driver
