Crazy story, I live in Michigan and one day my fiancé and I were at Value World looking for old records and a man approached us and chatted about records for a while. Then he mentions his younger brother opened a record store “Third Man Records” and it didn’t register in my head until he just went ahead and said his brother in legit Jack White. We sat and talked in the parking lot for like an hour as he told us all these stories and showed us old pictures of him. One of the coolest moments of our lives

Also live in Michigan. I dated Jack White’s nephew. He told me of their family feuds basically all relating to uncle Jack’s money and how his family believed they should all be benefiting from it. And just Jack generally being an antisocial guy, abruptly leaving in the middle of conversations and also never giving his nephew gifts on holidays or birthdays. You probably met my ex’s father before I did :)

@@SistoActivitatemAtm I never met him, in fact I was kept from meeting his family. My relationship with his nephew was tumultuous and short lived, so yeah. I just have whatever my ex had told me about him which I also take with a grain of salt. I know Jack’s mom, my ex’s grandma, has a huge mansion in Detroit that Jack bought for her. And she’s super independent about living alone and doing her own thing. A large portion of my ex’s father’s job was keeping that house and the grounds together- another example of “the family business” funded by Jack. I think they usually all do Christmas there. I know a cousin of my ex got Jack to let him use his recording studio and basically trashed it and didn’t really say sorry, so there was a family falling out for a bit. Jack’s kids are nice and cute, generally inquisitive, but also strange like Jack, but as far my ex could tell good kids. I have a few more tidbits but I bet this isn’t so interesting anyway haha

I just got a pizza delivered by a blond girl with a Russian accent (definitely Slavic in some way) who looks like a model. Great proportions.
