I have been staying in pak since 8 yrs as a Nepali and I must admit , pak is . Most mis understood Nation. I had the best life with so much genuine love from totally family like brothers, sisters. I have lived in India too. But I must admit I have the best, very clean, friendly life here in Pakistan. Pakistani are mis understood for their overwhelming kindness and loving, hospitable. Media has always negative chunk out of Pakistan to quench their diet on but in reality, pak is way way far more of a very standard and hospitable and loving country with kind Pakistani ppl. Just one word goes for Pakistani ppl "friendly and truly caring" This definition is misinterpreted on the outside World thankfully from this video its evident and would soon be in real sense to whole world as Pakistan has been open to whole World. Easiest country to travel to and get visa on arrival. One day pak wud compete Europe I second you the beauty it owns is beyond any level it's just not realized. Thee perception has not yet reached on larger scale. Imran Khan is a true human leader of world not only Pakistan. Having idolized to him I m blessed to have shaken hands with my idol. 🤝 I as a Nepali live in Pakistan I want to tell all the Pakistani ppl ur love and hospitality is ur most powerful owning In World from being universally most loved nation in the world. That is Pakistan that is no like other country. Pakistans soul and its diversity is far more beyond then what is even shown here. Its gigantic in every form just no entertainment media to show other thn stupid war and bad politics..Pakistan is way much more then what you think it is its totally opp to what the media gain by just defaming it. In real sense i see Pakistan' a heaven with loving ppl in its country which is priceless.

Most restaurants in Pakistan have two seating areas: Family area and general area. Family area is exclusive to females and groups with a female in it. Culturally, there is this certain segregation between men and women and most Pakistani families prefer to sit in the family area so as not to mix too much with the men - who take up most of the general seating area. So nothing to do with you being foreginer. If you didn't have your female friend with you, they would have you sit in the 'general' area.

@@kaveee971 That’s no excuse to segregate men and women. And what happens if they break the rule? They go to jail for that, fines?
@kaveee9713 жыл бұрын
@@josecarranza7555 seriously no, nobody goes to jail or fined. There's no legal aspect to it. It's just a cultural norm to adhere to. I see you are still looking at it from your lens. What is wrong if the people living there choose this way? You have to understand the structure of the society you are commenting on. A particular segment of society in Pakistan feels more comfortable with this segregation. Of course there are tons of restaurants in Pakistan where there's no concept of segregation and everyone shares the same space. You are free to choose what restaurant you wanna go to in Pakistan ;)

Mohammed Faisal Mirza yes I have been to ‘Islamic Republic Of Pakistan’, It is the country where those in authority would sell their mothers for a dollar...... that’s not me saying it, those are the very words an American senator had used to perfectly describe Pakistani officials who had handed over a Guy by the name of ‘Aimal Kasi’ to the Americans for a million dollars.... back in the early 90’s. Pakistan is a country where life is so cheap, it’s worse than Mexico, with all those drug wars going on, at least with Mexico they don’t let outside forces run around freely killing its citizens for sport. Pakistan supposed to be an ‘Islamic’ country...... the theme... ‘land of the pure’ That in itself is laughable.... considering the amount corruption and vice going on in there. I don’t think ‘conde naste magazine’ had looked at the reality of Pakistan or its statistics, from 2018 to present... over 1300 children has been kidnapped. Raped and murdered in Pakistan. How many of those child rapists/murderers have been caught and sentenced ? How many of those victims have received justice ? About 3 days ago, a nine years old girl was kidnapped from near her own house, she was brutally tortured, they had pulled her teeth out, violently raped her, she had bite marks all over her body, she was stabbed, (some people said, her eyes were taken out) and if that was not enough... she was shot and then the very next day was dumped on her own door step! Two days before that, a five years old was raped by a 50 years old man, but luckily she wasn’t killed. More or less a week before that girl, a seven years old girl by the name of ‘Huznoor’ was kidnapped, while she was on the way to a madrasah for an Islamic studies, she was raped and killed, literally a few hundred yards from her own house and then dumped in some water tanker. Where’s the safety ? You people cannot safeguard your own children.... when you want justice, you will have to pay for it.... lolz and you people have the audacity to chant that I do not know anything about Pakistan. Now my question to you is..... what I’ve stated, are they lies or truth ???

Well you are partially right. In more high end or proper restaurants, there is no such segregation. But in the roadside, not-so-elegant looking eating places, you tend to find this segregation.
@muhammadtalha28534 жыл бұрын
Saveez Sheikh in high end restaurants there is no need for segregation because it is normally families or couples that go to those places
@SaveezSheikh4 жыл бұрын
@@muhammadtalha2853 You couldn't be more wrong; either you didn"t think it through or you are simply not aware. Kindly don't spread misinformation. Many male only groups do go to the high end eateries. I am from Lahore and have been to so many of the high end restaurants in male-only companies. They don't segregate purely because such places are mostly frequented by people who conduct themselves better and show basic social ethics. Unfortunately, the low-end eating places don't have the best of ambience due to their set-ups being in more conservative sections of the society, in general. Therefore, in order to attract families and ladies, these places tend to have the 'Family Halls'.

Most of the local restaurants have separate sitting arrangements for families so the females feel comfortable while eating as you notice some women do the "Naqab" and they don't want to reveal their face in front of other men so they sit in separate areas and remove the Naqab and can eat properly then

They took you upstairs is because of the respect for women not because you are a Westerner. When I used to live in Pakistan, my mom was a single mom with kids. And whenever we used to visit a small restaurant in Rawalpindi, they used to take us upstairs as a respect for women. So if you are a family or a woman, they will take you upstairs in a separate place.
