Bro fought the tutorial boss without finishing the tutorial. A tip for the game as a whole: you are playing on hard, which you get less xp, deal less damage and take double the damage, and the egg take 3h min to hatch. You can change everything to your liking on the menu when selecting the world, just change to custom and have fun. Also, the eggs need some temperature to hatch faster. If you look at the fire egg at the incubator it says it's cold and hatching 0% faster.

Ya know props for beating the boss while still using regular bows and stone weapons. I fought the boss when I finally got the crossbow. Here’s a tip if ya didn’t know. If ya aim and hit the trainers riding on there pall’s back during the boss battle it does more damage.
