Tbh he would actually fit this team. Maxey is not a playmaker. So now you will have 3 high level perimeter shooters especially in transition with Ben Simmons elite playmaking. Maxey is a 3 level scorer. With Ben on floor, thst gets complicated as Ben's man is now free to defend Maxey. Ben makes it 4 or 5. That is assuming he plays past the mental stuff, leg issues, and back issues. The man sat out for his back and then in off season said he won't do surgery. Howbwpuld a player that avoids all potential contact situations due to pressure of shooting foul shots do against defensive teams?

Granted Ben Simmons played his best basketball as a 76er but after moving on and two back surgeries no way he should come back (& won't case closed..). DFS is a 3 not a 4 and will not help on the boards the way we need vs the Knicks, Celtics, Heat and even Cavs. Ben can do those 3 needed things...Im 60/40 leaning No to if they could bring him back on the min. If they can get Dario get him cause he could rebound, solid passer and would be ok in help(team) defense, plus solid IQ.
