you dont need to understand where they are going, they make art and you consume it, if these rappers always listened to what the fans want they would fall off eg. uzi. it might be one of those songs that people say "a collab we didnt know we needed" homixide gang on the other hand is simply street niggas that carti put on to have street connections and fund gang activities just like 21 savage and young nudy and of course young thug. thats why homixide gang just hops on generic rage beats and it seems as if they dont try. everything is calculated carti is still rising in popularity. you need to understand that most artist record labels fail because the main artist is too quick to collab with everyone on that they dont get to build they own fanbase. i do agree that lone has to push boundaries on this album thats why his doing these features. i dont think its fair to say no one cares about don & quavo they have their own fanbases. & just because no one is talking about you doesnt mean you fell off or no one cares, thats why don can drop a few songs and people are bumping them. everyone is in their own lane, they just wait for the right time to collab
