Every time I listen to Dr Seiler I learn something new. He's got such a great way of explaining training concepts.

Having listened & watched many training video's, this by far is the most comprehensive one I've come across. Incredible content. 👍👍

Really awesome, Stephen Seiler has a unique way of sharing knowledge, and congratulations also to the interviewers because they squeezed the opportunity and put so many relevant questions on the table. Seiler, along with Iñigo San Millan and Sebastian Weber are in my opinion three capital references nowadays. Excellent show.

Recovery is the thing. Instant? One day? Two days? Three days? I read from one source that if the athlete hasn't recovered after three days, then that session wasn't appropriate at that moment in time. I prefer the instant time frame myself. At the other end of the scale I know of a tri-athlete who did an Iron-man in a good time and never stopped training or competing. Their health is currently wrecked. And they still force themselves to do a Parkrun each week. Madness.

1:05:40 damn I thought the literal opposite method (spreading harder sessions more evenly) would be smarter. I wonder if this works also if u are preparing for a marathon and not triathlon..
