NOT smoking gives you lung cancer too. It did my biological mother, whose birthday is today. She died of it and that's why I hate when smokers STILL won't put out their "stink-weed," even after I tell them I have Stage 0 cancer. They're trying to stop it from becoming Stage 1, in situ. These days I haven't seen a more whinging group of people than smokers. I remember when they had no problem with politely going somewhere else to smoke. They didn't inSIST on doing it in front of someone who's trying to stop themselves from getting malignant cancer. My fiancé calls it a stink-weed and smokers in Germany act the same way. Some woman asked him "Was ist denn los mit dir?" (an equivalent to "What's your problem?) He told her (in German) "Nothing - and I'd be a whole lot better if you would put out that stink-weed."

I was thinking the other day, at least when Emperor Nero (apocryphally) fiddled as Rome burnt, he did at least stay in the country to do it. He wasn't off sunning himself in Hawaii, as he practised his musicianship.

I'm glad at least one person who's on the liberal side (Obama's liberal in American politics) who can actually adMIT he's not perfect. God forbid anyone here try to tell them that. I've been blocked and deleted for saying similar things.
