The New War will be the most important update for Warframe. It will either be amazing and get a ton of new stuff and bring back a lot of people, or it will be average/bad and everyone left that's holding out hope will likely leave. Right now I'm leaning towards the former because this shit's been in development for what? 3 years now? And what we saw at Tennocon was pretty hype. However, DE has been known to f a lot of things up. The Dev stream that's supposed to happen today will hopefully make things clearer

Honestly I like the regal aya, all I wanted was the distilling extractor prime, which the tiny pack was sufficient for. And I got a cool syandana out of it too, and the 200 plat is also nice. (Also the reason I wanted distilling extractor prime is because of the Hema, still need like 4000 more mutagen mass .-. )

Kinda dumb how prime syandanas are two regal aya. For 20 dollars before aya you could've gotten both a prime armour set and syandana + 200 plat. Now with aya you can only get either an armour set or syandana but not both. And let's not forget that aya didn't originally give platinum

In general I agree about AYA being pretty useless to anyone who doesn't need any of the primes. I have been playing the game as a collector for a while now and the prospect of hoarding sets for trading isn't enough for me to grind at the moment either, I've gotten enough sellable goods and I'm fine with my current plat hoard as well. From my perspective there has been a really long content drought now. RAYA is also a bit of a mess, sure they added plat and that's at least enough to make good on the promise that it was "as close to a 1:1 value as possible" but its still off. It should cost less per RAYA or they should re-balance the RAYA cost of individual items. Still, its like any transaction you have with DE, a bad deal for you. I would just like it if my transactions with DE were mutually beneficial, that they would not try to squeeze players so hard all the time. Also, this was not 10c, this was DE, no doubt in my mind. Aweblade, you are one of the top WF creators, I'd dislike loosing you but honestly fuck WF anyways, do what you think is right for you.

Prime Packs (and the desired contents that have always been exclusive to that pack) will always cost real money. That is the nature of them in the game* I love it that the currency they have chosen look like tears. What is happening is DE have a large catalogue of Prime frames (that will take years to again rotate) that they are _supposedly_ making it easier to obtain theme in preparation for the New War. You'll have a ton of players coming in who will notice that (so it might have been best to do Resurgence sometime after actually). So unless you have a few more vaulted Primes parts to collect, this will indeed be a 'meaningless' event for you. For some reason certain players believe they are somehow being *forced* to partake in something that doesn't affect them. It's like reverse FOMO or something for malcontents, DE won't win. Aweblade instantly shrugged off the Steel Path live while getting around 10-28% damage in a full squad using Garuda while most in comments sections were complaining about it being too tough at the time. Come on. I'd like to add that at one time he thought the missing Simulacrum bug was a directed retaliation by Scott and all the comments sections chimed in. That's how easy it is for them to play pied piper with the community. Group think internet fuckers. * 'Ninjas Play Free' is a lie or something.

I've kind of given myself the same ultimatum, although I haven't been playing for like 3 months already so yeah... "Sucks" in my book means it's the same "dust in our eyes" shit as Railjack (and I fucking ENJOYED RJ's concept). Meaning...it's 99% different of what we've been shown. I don't think there was a a single player watching Tennocon who didn't lose their shit when Teshin went on screen with the Dual Nikanas and that sweet minimal UI. If we don't get that...then bye. They also said that those 40 mins were like an introduction, an Act 1/5 IIRC?(correct me if I'm misremembering) and that we should expect a good campaign. Then comes the prospect of repeatable content. What are we going to unlock and play with after the quest? Is it a quest at all? They've been throwing the phrase "New War will feel like a war" around for a while, so I at least expect some longevity from a narrative standpoint, interactions, something to alter the Origin ystem entirely. If all we get is some "rotating" mission like the "Anomaly" (with some bullshit currency to get some cosmetics) was in RJ then fuck off... Part of me is already with one foot in the door...while I "expect" to see at least what I've described above, I also expect nothing, because time and time again, DE has been the victim of their own ambition.

I think the core problem with games like warframe and now Genshin is eventually your account gets too damn OP. I get that they want to make things accessible for more people so they spend more money but in the end its just not hard enough. Grind isnt hard it just gets annoying eventually.
